“Fantastic place to stay (seven of us in total) while we visited family in nearby Cambridge, NY. The owner was incredibly friendly and proactively checked on us to make sure we didn’t need anything. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of dishes and equipment to make cooking meals at home easy to do. Easy to get to the stores we needed and bring groceries into the house. “OMG - this place is fantastic. An oasis of peace and quiet yet close to so many things - Albany Rep for theatre, 38 mins away, Saratoga - 38 min away, Bennington museums - 38 min away. Manchester VT - 38 min away. This house is so impeccably appointed and comfortable, you want for nothing. Add in the "see to the horizon" sight lines out your bedroom window and you know you are in heaven. You know the host cares for your comfort - she has even added a bit of magic to your stay”

“The room was very clean. Beds comfortable but bed frame was metal and made loud noise sometimes while on the bed. Staff was great. Pool closed and ice machine broken. Breakfast was good. Picnic table area was dirty from smokers who didn't bother to use the 2 ash trays there.”

“Nice quite place to stay the night. No second floor, so there was no chance of being disturbed by people walking above you. Clean room, including the bathroom. I liked that it had a mini fridge so we could put food in it that we brought with us. There was also a separate freezer where I refroze my ice packs over night. Very handy. I didn't have any food to reheat, but if I had, the microwave would have come in handy. I did use the coffee pot for coffee in the morning. I took off a star...

“It was very clean, very very cute, you don’t have direct view of the lake from the porch but there’s a super cute little pond and the lake is a ten second walk from the cabin. If you’re worried about the AC don’t be, it works incredibly well and never gave us any issues!”

“What a delightful little cottage! Windows on all sides let the sun and stars in and the weather out. We were welcomed by grazing cows and saw a spectacular firefly show at dusk. The perfect escape from the modern world.”
