“I recently stayed at the Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland and my girls and I had a great experience. I arrived before check in and the staff graciously allowed me to park my rental car early, which was a huge convenience and a great first impression. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and my room was spacious with a kitchenette that made the stay even more comfortable. “They do have parking close by but I did not use it. They did have valet service and the valet were very personable and always smiling. Duncan, at the check-in, was AMAZING!! I stayed 5 nights/6 days and every evening when I came back from my adventures, he would ask how my day went and if I needed anything. Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to take advantage of the bar. My room was clean and housekeeping was pleasant when I needed anything.”

The third time, I was told that there was no AC, and all they could provide was a fan. As a seperate problem, it was not clear that you had to request a room clean, and when I finally asked on my third day all they did was empty the trash and provide a couple new towels.
