“This apartment is very cute and clean. The bed was comfy too! The animals were a hit with me and the main reason I booked it! They are up close and personal and so cute! "Buddy" the puppy was there to welcome us and see us off. What a sweet baby. The horses were very friendly as well. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!”

“We arrived late in the evening, and settled in. The room is actually a mother-in-law suite connected like a duplex to a beautiful cottage/home. The online pictures do not do it justice! It’s quaint, welcoming, cozy, very clean and well supplied. If I could add anything I would just add a regular coffee maker vs. the over-pour. There are many things to do, and this place is just behind the main square. You can all to everything downtown from here. It was perfect for us. We will return.”

“Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing...

“We booked this home for the April 2024 eclipse and we just loved staying here. The home was comfortable and the scenery was so peaceful. The owners were extremely responsive to any messages I sent their way. You can tell they want their guests to be well cared for during their stay. If you need a place to stay in Glen Rose or want to stay near the cities without being IN the city, this is a fantastic option.”

“Overall a nice stay. Stan was around the property each day, and was most pleasant to talk with. He brought us a dozen fresh eggs, which we enjoyed immensely! The cabin had a nice view of his large garden and a windmill, but was quite a bit more rustic than we had anticipated. We had not seen a picture of the bathroom on the booking site, and it was very small. The overhead fan did not work. Thankfully we had brought a portable fan, which was necessary to clear the humidity from the bathroom....
