“Room was beautiful, staff friendly, and amenities plentiful. Only weird thing was the shower floor is made in such a way that the water doesn’t drain fully, leaving a slightly funny smell after a while. The room was clean and smelled great when we arrived. All in all an awesome stay! ”

“We stayed in cabin 3 which was sweetly decorated with an electric fireplace. Staff promptly swapped our malfunctioning coffee machine for a new one. Delicious coffee! Small frig for keeping our leftovers and beverages. Bathroom door squeaked and the bathroom walls were about 7 feet high and not to the ceiling, which was unique. Guests have free access to the gym around the corner: it’s very well equipped, plus they have showers, a jacuzzi and a sauna. Overall a relaxing experience. ”

“Such a cool and unique historic hotel in downtown Port Townsend. We like the hotel so much we extended our stay. Great location across the street from waterfront and public square where musicians played mid-day. Rooms are beautiful, hotel is so fun to walk around and explore the community spaces. Enjoyed the complementary local newspaper in the morning with coffee from "better living through coffee" across the street. We want to come back to Port Townsend and stay here again!”

“This place is amazing. We had a very spacious suite with comfortable beds. There is a small library down the hall which everyone enjoyed. Very awesome place in walking distance to the water, pier, restaurants and shopping. The only thing we had trouble with was getting our luggage (approx 50 pounds) up the steps. “We had fantastic service inside the hotel and at the delicious restaurant. The setting is gorgeous with views of the bay on all sides. The room was nicely sized and beds were comfortable. It’s a a great, central location to be able to attend various locations all over the Olympic Peninaula!”

“Everything is so wonderful and the family enjoy the stay so much. The only complain is probably the bed is kind of aged and too soft such that we all felt a little bit shoulder pain after waked up in the morning. By the way, the resort's Fireside restaurant is strongly recommended for future guests. The view, atmosphere, service, and the food are all excellent. ”

The place is very convenient to ride our bike to the starting place of the tour. It is also walkable to the convenient store. I love that it has a complimentary breakfast. “This was a unique opportunity to stay in a castle. There are a lot of stairs. However, Amber, at the front desk made the whole stay wonderful. She took us up with a 1920 original elevator with our luggage. The castle has claims of paranormal activity but, we did not experience anything unusual. “per fortuna ho dormito una sola notte, la camera puzzava di umido e polvere talmente tanto che era impossibile dormire, avevamo tutti e 3 la gola infiammata dagli acari!. Non capisco come possa evere valutazioni così alte, probabilmente sono false come anche quelle del Motel The Forks inn a Forks che è dello stesso proprietario e dove sfortunatamete ho dormito il giorno successivo, pessimo come questo. “There was a bit of a fiasco with the reservation, not the motel's fault at all though. And when they couldn't find me they were about to give me a complimentary room until it got settled! Fortunately, it all got straightened out and I was able to go to my room. They were patient and friendly through the whole experience and gave me a bottled water. I would stay here again and recommend it. Thank you for you patiyand understanding in the mix up!”
