“One of the female front desk staff was short and made me feel very embarrassed.i think she was if Eastern European decent . Possibly Ukrainian . She processed the wrong credit card for payment without asking me and it was denied. Which I knew it would be because I only have a $500 limit on that card for the purpose of being wrongly charged. It was only to hold the room. Her entire face and attitude changed like I was some kind of criminal. I gave her another card I actually wanted it on for...

“A great place to stay for solo travellers. Beautiful surroundings. Have excellent connectivity to the city attractions via buses, bike rides also 20 mins walk to the downtown. Only improvement could have be made was regular housekeeping services in shower room.”

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“Nice location, there’s a pub next door and a few cafes along the street. Walking distance to citadel. Room was clean but we did found a mouse on our last night. There’s no hair dyer in the washroom. They also don’t recommend drinking the tap water but no drinking water is provided, you have to buy bottled water from them. Fire station is along the street so if you’re sensitive to the noise just keep that in mind”

“Perfect stay. Lovely front desk staff, spacious clean modern rooms. Terrific breakfast with lots of choices. Ric does a great job making sure breakfast is well stocked and fresh. The La Rouge restaurant on site is a nice place to have dinner as well.”
