The property is extremely well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Every room is perfectly and evenly heated in the colder weather and wood-burning stoves add a lovely focal point. “We had a great stay in this lovely property. Bigger than the photos suggest, well decorated and it had everything we needed. Lots to do, really close to the beach, lots of places to eat within walking distance (I recommend to book in advance and eat early - many places including takeaways stop serving at 8pm or 9pm). It is right next to the lighthouse (which we took a tour up) but the light is well above the house so doesn't affect it. The Sole Bay Inn is the other side of the street and there...

“Gorgeous house with very good facilities and lots of space. Every room beautifully decorated and the basement movie / games room provided hours of fun. Lots of great walks on the beach and nearby. Special mention to Peter the maintenance man who went beyond the call of duty to help us out, greatly appreciated. Anyone booking this house, will have a great time, we will be back!.”

“Beautifully updated house. A fantastic job was done to retain the character of the home, but update it to modern amenities and comforts. Directions to access the property were clear, making it easy to locate and enter. My only suggestion would be to provide some basic toiletries such as shampoo, soap in the shower, more toilet paper (we had to go purchase toilet paper as there was a small supply provided). ”
