“The property was lovely. The rooms were extremely clean, but what made my experience top-tier….. Were the employees!!! There were three people that I saw working during my stay. They were all African-American. There was a Lady, a younger gentleman and an older gentleman. All of them were just wonderful. I wasn’t a fan of the parking situation, but it was in downtown so it is what it is but due to how wonderful the staff was I’d come back again even though I didn’t enjoy the parking situation....

“We loved our stay at The Brown Hotel! Charming older hotel. Restaurant/bars were wonderful, staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable. Location was a little away from 4th St and Whiskey Row, but easy 1 mile walk to attractions. Highly recommend The Brown Hotel!”

We were there during a busy time and they took security of hotels guests seriously and kept traffic within the hotel very monitored. The customer service was above and beyond. I would stay here again and wish this hotel was in every city I visited!”

“The place has character and seems to be well taken care of. Breakfast is different and well prepared, but not that filling. Our biggest problem was not getting any hot water in the shower or the bathroom sink tap even after letting the water run for 20 minutes with the knob turned to the max on the right hand side (tried other settings too). And the bnb message about the access code did not arrive “within 48h of check-in” as given in the Expedia description, but just 5 hours before check-in,...

“The Tempo has reasonable rates and is a great place to stay in Louisville’s NuLu neighborhood. It is also within walking distance to Downtown. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There is a parking garage right behind the hotel, though it costs about $30/night. “Hotel was clean and exactly as listed! Breakfast was perfect with waffles, eggs, French toast, cereal, yogurt and various breads. The bar tender, Stephen, was amazing!!!! He offered suggestions as to some great places to visit and also made fantastic cocktails! This hotel was only a few blocks from 4th Street Live! Great place to stay!
