“For the off season price, this had excellent value. Away from the busier part of the beach but very close to shop, dining, and beach. Had the pool been open that would have been nice but unfortunately the pool wasnt open yet. Would stay there again for a quick gettaway. ”

“We had a good stay, however the main reason I booked this hotel to stay at was for the indoor pool and for the four nights we were there the pool was not open. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We will be coming to Wilmington often now as my son and his family have just moved here so hopefully the pool will open and we will stay again!”

“I usually don’t leave 5 star reviews. My wife and I decided to take a day trip to the beach and booked a room at the Sand Dunes hotel. It was ocean front room, two queen beds, full sized fridge, microwave, balcony with two chairs. Stayed on the third floor.
The only bad part was there was limited opportunity to wash feet before heading back in after walking on the beach. We found a hose near front of hotel. Other than that it was perfect. ”

“The location was great, the room was very clean and the staff was friendly. There was a slight miscommunication regarding extra towels, but that was no big deal. The only complaint is about the parking. We arrived mid-week and it wasn't a problem. However, after spending the day away on Friday, we returned in the evening to no parking. After circling around for 20 minutes we we able to find a spot. Its annoying to pay $10 a day for parking and find none. We asked about it the following morning...
