“amazing hotel, great room, check out was not the best... would highly suggest some improvements on amenities or payable snacks. when i checked in-there was no cookies, but on second night , cookies were added in the bar and they wrongly counted me having taken 2... its not a nice feeling when you are sure not having taking anything from the bar that the reception keeps asking.. anyway this hotel was amazing again, it would be a pity for some details damaging the wonderful image of it”

“Quick overnight trip, came up after being at sport outside in rain, very cold tired and room was so warm, host friendly as it was late check in, very helpful, got me the fan I wanted to. “Very nice receptionist who allowed me to check in before the norm check in time and specifically did up the bed to accommodate me. Cheers for that. Nicely done up bathroom which is impressive. So far the only bathroom with heating rod to keep the hand towels dry. Rooms are spacious w a mobile heater which warm up the room. Lots of storage beneath, on the side and a panel inside the pod to keep some necessities. Extra storage near the receptionist upon request. Super impressed by the Japanese...

“Thank you for another great visit and stay at Uptown. Your staff is kind and friendly. The room was actually a bit too warm but otherwise it's a great hostel. I wish the staff at Best Cafe were as nice as the staff at Uptown. I tried to enter Best Cafe and no sooner had I stepped into the doorway when a woman staffer pushed me out closing the door in my face and saying they couldn't take in just one more customer - even with empty tables waiting!
