Un paio di nuovi aggiornamenti a casa nostra. Abbiamo appena installato 240 di ricarica per veicoli elettrici (mi dispiace non Tesla - questo è un livello 2 J1772). Abbiamo appena installato una sauna a infrarossi da 5 persone! Quindi per tutti voi motociclisti, escursionisti, sciatori e cacciatori, è un ottimo modo per rilassarsi! Questo a due piani, quattro camere da letto casa vi offre una posizione comoda e conveniente per tutto il vostro divertimento nel sud-ovest del Colorado. Grande sport all'aria aperta e le destinazioni interessanti si trovano in tutte le direzioni e quando il giorno è fatto, vengono 'casa' per rilassarsi in tutta comodità. 9 posti letto comodamente in ognuna delle quattro camere da letto complete e poi c'è un futon che può essere trasferito secondo necessità per altri 2 e possiamo ospitare bambini extra che amano 'campeggiare fuori'. Cucina, due bagni, un patio esterno e un balcone completamente accessibile a pieno carico. Il coffee shop Loops della porta accanto può ottenere il tuo fabbisogno di caffeina e burrito per la colazione pronto per andare.
Tutte e quattro le stagioni sono un momento meraviglioso per visitare il Sud degli Stati Uniti. La primavera può avere un paio di tempeste, ma in generale abbiamo giorni di sole e parchi nazionali sono aperti, e il tempo è bello per esplorare. Le giornate estive sono per andare in bicicletta, trekking, gite in barca, e le avventure. L'autunno è un tempo meraviglioso nella regione sud-ovest per il vostro orologio colore - vedendo gli alberi si trasformano in loro nuovo guardaroba gloriosa prima dell'inverno. I cacciatori possono avere tutti i comfort e di essere ancora vicino a una moltitudine di buoni punti di caccia. Wintertime equivale a grande sci sia a Purgatorio (precedentemente noto come la Durango Mountain Resort) o di Telluride. Sci di fondo quasi ovunque quando la neve è buona. Il fiume Dolores è letteralmente a 300 metri dalla tua porta principale e il McFee Reservoir si trova a 1,6 km di distanza. Andare a sciare a Telluride o Durango, grande mountain bike sono disponibili all'indirizzo Boggy Draw (3 miglia di distanza) o mondiale di Phil (12 miglia di distanza) solo per citarne alcuni. Spacious, and convenient location

Robbie and Steve are exceptionally gracious and welcoming hosts. The home is well laid out for two couples. Kitchen is spacious and well appointed.

Cool old house in Dolores. The hosts were very friendly and easy to get ahold of. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were quite comfortable. The house didn't have air conditioning but was very comfortable. Cool town with a great brewery down the street that served up good beer and a variety of foods depending on the day. They make a great pizza there. Lots of locals and live music.

Fantastic Stay - Beautiful Town

My husband and I stayed in beautiful Delores for seven nights. We enjoyed exploring Mesa Verde and the Canyons of the Ancients. Robby and Steve's home was the perfect base to return to after a long day of exploring. The home was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was spacious. We especially enjoyed the little breakfast nook. Robby and Steve are fantastic hosts with excellent communication skills. We will return next time we are in the area.

Wonderful house for extended stay!

We used this house for a spring break trip to Mesa Verde and the surrounding area. It is an easily accessible house within 30 minutes to the enterance to Mesa Verde. The house was quiet, very well maintained, and plenty of room for 5 people. There is a full kitchen with everything you need to cook dinners, with dishwasher. The laundry was perfect for a family hiking, so we saved a lot of money and stress by not eating out or bringing a lot of clothes. There is only one bathroom, but it is large and very clean. I met the owners, and they were absolutely delightful to talk to. I would definitely use this house again when we come down here to get some sun. The town is quiet, but has some great breakfast and coffee options. You are close to a large Dark Sky zone, the Canyon of the Ancients, and within 2 hours to Arches, as well as Monument Valley and other awesome places. The desert air and incredible views are definitely worth it when you stay in such a perfect home away from home! Thanks for a great stay!

Enjoyed the stay

Very clean and nicely decorated (minus one slightly creepy painting). It had a well equipped kitchen which is always greatly appreciated. Tons of helpful info in the house and within the welcome letter for those who haven't visited the area before. The only complaint which is maybe a weird one, is the toilet was too small (for a bigger guy like myself). Otherwise I highly recommend staying here and we will likely be doing so again in the future! Thanks for the hospitality!

We.enjoyed our week in "Fort Dolores" so much. Hubby hunted in the nearby forest while i took walks around town, read, and knitted. We had some great meals.out in the evenings at local restaurants. As for the property, it is spacious, comfy, fully equipped, quiet, and charming. Steve and Robby are great hosts. They even accommodated our reservation change atthe last minute. Absolutely recommend this VRBO.

Home away from home

I stayed about two weeks as I visited family locally. I very much enjoyed the accommodations; they were quite comfortable and the owner clearly pays a lot of attention to detail. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt.

Wonderful!

This property was perfect for our family of 4 (including two teenagers). We used the air mattress. The property had everything we needed, including everything we needed to cook. Owners were quick to reply to questions. We would be happy to stay here again!

Second stay!

Another great trip to Dolores visiting family. We stayed here a few years ago and had such a great experience we stayed again. The location is perfect- one block from the river, a short walk to the market and close to many sightseeing opportunities like Mesa Verde. The house stayed cool and comfortable, the beds are comfortable as well, the shower has awesome water pressure and the kitchen was well equipped. Even though we stayed to ourselves, Robbie made us feel well taken care of and was available for any needs that we might have. Next time we visit, we will be sure to stay here again!

Perfect For Us!

Great getaway!

My friends and I came down forba few days to do Mesa Verde and other putdoor acyivites. The house was absolutely adorable, well stocked and perfect for our needs. There is a coffee shop right out your front door which was very convenient. Steve and Robby were so kind and welcoming. We loved the town of Dolores and everything it had to offer. If we ever come back down south we will definitely stay here!

Better Than Advertised

This proper is better than advertised. My wife and I stayed at this property for a week and had an outstanding stay. The property has a cool retro vibe and all the rooms in the house are large. We cooked almost every night and the house was stocked with everything we needed. The owners were friendly and responsive while respecting our privacy. The location is perfect as we were able to visit: Telluride, Mesa Verde National Park, Cortez, and Mancos. Plus the Dolores River is about 200 yards away. We enjoyed the quaintness of Dolores and the friendliness of the town. Don't hesitate to book this property. We hope to be back

Wonderful stay

Great location in a small, quiet town. Close to several towns and the Mesa Verde Entrance. Our stay was the first week of June. Temperatures average 50 at night to about 80 °f in the afternoon. The river is super close to the house and accessible but still too cold to actually enjoy a fun dip. Doesn't stop anyone from trying though :) The Host offer several beach towels for any water expeditions you may tackle. House was as expected. Clean, plenty of space and a heater in the bathroom in case you get cold like me. The bathroom mirrors are not kid friendly height. Rooms were nice. Beds were good. The blinds over the windows do not block out much sunlight. By 530 am every morning the rooms were lite up. There is only one TV that's in the living area. No bedrooms have TV so keep that in mind if you have guests that need their own space. We did not explore around the property much. We did not access the sauna. But it was a good trip for us.

Father/son elk hunting trip

We spent a week in this wonderful and cozy property for a father/son elk hunting trip at the end of October in 2021. I can’t say enough about how great our experience was. This is a great place to stay with wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this property.

Great House!

Great central location! It is only about 20 minutes to Mesa Verde National Park. The whole little town is within walking distance from the house. The house was very clean and fully furnished and stocked with all of the supplies we needed to have a comfortable stay. The property owner is very sweet and easy to communicate with.

Great Small Town Experience

Delores is a wonderful small town and this home is a great way to get to know both the town and the area. Fun hiking within a mile, nice river walks right out the door and challenging hiking within a short scenic drive. Mess Verde is a 20-30 minute drive away. Farmers market in town on Wednesday evening. House was spacious and well appointed. I enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. Wonderful, cool mornings! We definitely enjoyed our stay in every way.

Best rental in Dolores

This is our second stay in this home. Robby and Steve are tremendous hosts. Great personalities, easy to talk to and very accommodating. The house has been updated with great bathrooms that work well and bedrooms with beds that actually allow you to sleep.. The kitchen has way more utensils and appliances than most rentals. The cooking pans are Cuisinart and as a consequence it is very easy to prepare food in this kitchen. Laundry facilities are very nice and work flawlessly. The neighborhood is quiet despite being just off the main street in Dolores. Within walking distance of the Ponderosa Restaurant, grocery store and other places of interest. Did I mention that Robby and Steve are great hosts? We have stayed in other rentals with a much higher per night cost and this is far and away the best value per night. You will really enjoy your stay at this house.
