Hotel vicino a Dows Fine Arts Center - Cedar Rapids

“The place was filthy from the parking lot to the elevators all the way up to the rooms the pool hot tub no one has ever cleaned the glass the sauna there was a Band-Aid in there for seven days that we were there the breakfast bar it’s not what it is pictured it’s not what I saw in the Expedia picture of the hotel I have pictures of a yogurt machine that should’ve been cleaned but didn’t look like it was cleaned in years the filth was so disgusting a rag on the floor all week in the food area…....

“We did not end up staying at this hotel. We were booked into a handicapped room, which I specifically did not select and there was nothing else available. “It was pet friendly which was nice. The room had a strong musty smell. The shower leaked so I had to put a towel down to muffle the sound so we could sleep. I did share with the girl at the desk.”

“Hampton inn has been my preferred hotel for years. Lately the chain has not been a step above the rest. Not a huge deal but there was coffee drips on the bathroom sink, clearly wasn’t wiped down. The bed was made very sloppy. Sheets not tucked in and hanging uneven. Like I said, not a huge deal but doesn’t make Hampton Inn stand out from other chains. “The water was shut off for about one hour and we were not told anything about it. We had to use our bottled water to rinse out the shampoo in our hair. That was a huge disappointment. We were getting ready for a concert and had zero warning until we asked”

Actually, no cooking is allowed anywhere in the hotel. Even though the rooms offered have kitchenettes in the photos and we chose a room specifically for the kitchenette.
