The town of Ashbourne is lovely and Dublin was only a 30 minute bus ride away. The Ryan’s went out of there way to makes us feel at home. “We booked the cottage for a family reunion for a small group.Our aim was to spend the day in Clougherhead & the location of the cottage just on the outskirts of Baltray was surberb. The cottage has plenty of space both indoors & out for a small group.For a cottage the space was great.There was bedding, towels all provided. Also plenty of utensils & dinner wear in the kitchen.There was no BBQ ( which was advertised) & the outdoor area could do with dome upgrading on the crazy paving plus the...

“This was the perfect accommodation for a 3 generation family. The welcome basket was a good example of the thoughtful management. We also chose to have a home cooked meal provided on our first night of arrival which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.”

“This property is a great country retreat. Ducks come visit you in the morning, the tire swing is so much fun, and views of the river and landscape are breathtaking. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. The property is only a handful of minutes away from Newgrange, Funtasia, Emerald Park, and Drogheda. It's so handy to have a full kitchen and washing machine.”

“We had a wonderful stay. Our Carriage House was fantastic. The grounds were beautiful with blooming flowers, shrubs and trees. We arrived and was greeted by Dave with a warm fire in the fireplace. Dave and Sue were quick to resond to any of our messages. I hope we are welcome back. ”

“The cottage and the gardens were absolutely perfect. We were a group of 4 generations, my 91 year old mother, my daughter and 13 year old granddaughter. The cottage has the perfect amount of room. From the well equipped kitchen, large relaxing livingroom and comfortable beds. And Liz's gardens are unbelievablely gorgeous I can't say enough about this cottage, the property and the kindness of Roger and Liz. I hope to return someday.”

“Have traveled to many places, including Ireland before & this was the most relaxing & superb place ever! Miles of clean quiet beach a few steps from your magical "cottage". “Had a great stay at the decoy country cottages. Centrally located to see many sights. Visited the hill of Tara, Loughcrew Cairns and also do a walk along the Bourne valley which started at ramparts. Close to shopping centers and getting to Dublin was an easy drive as well. Has a great time here.”
