“Its about time! Finally a hotel that actually considers guests. Bed comfy, room clean, staff willing to go that extra bit to make you feel comfortable. Unable to stay for the complimentary breakfast due to early business, but was offered a lovely breakfast pack to take with me. Restaurant and Bar being a short walk across the court and there professionalism was noted as well. Well done .”

“What a special stay in animal view lodge. Wonderful staff (special thanks to Jacob and Claire for our excursions, but also guest house staff). Breakfast and dinner where menus were multiple and food was an excellent quality. Peaceful and calming viewing nature from your front deck 🙂”

“The room was fairly clean, but it was a glorified tent, so we did not expect primo cleanliness. The area is a bit remote, so staff was not readily available. The restaurant was good and the staff there was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We had a good time, and we would return there again without hesitation. ”

“For an older motel, the room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The location was good for easy walking to venue. Quiet, just off the CBD. ”

“Owner Garry was very accommodating of my request for an early check-in. Room was big enough to not feel claustrophobic and very tidy. I will definitely be coming back next time I am in Dubbo. ”

“Price is good. The only issues were, the queen bed needs a new mattress. Both sides are hollow, when you lay on the end of the bed it feels like you are rolling off. The shower also needs a new shower head/taps. It was dripping all the time. The taps do not close properly anymore.”
