Classic Kiwi Bach con un tocco moderno

Caldo e confortevole, il bach è ben isolato, ben riscaldato e ha una cucina moderna. Sei solo 2 minuti a piedi da una delle più belle spiagge della Nuova Zelanda e 15 minuti di auto dal centro di Dunedin. È possibile gustare un barbecue sul ponte o fare un 5 minuti a piedi da un eccellente fish & chip shop. Siamo animali domestici e la proprietà è ben recintata in modo che il vostro cane sia sicuro di vagare per il prato.

La spiaggia di Ocean View è uno dei segreti meglio custoditi di Dunedin. Abbiamo vissuto a Dunedin per 14 anni prima di scoprirlo nel 2004 e da allora abbiamo vissuto qui. Sette chilometri di splendida sabbia bianca a soli 15 minuti di auto dal centro di Dunedin. Il tempo è generalmente migliore rispetto alla città con una temperatura media di circa 2 gradi più calda. La spiaggia è spesso abbastanza deserta, quindi non essere sorpreso se sei l'unico essere umano in vista. Se sei fortunato, potresti incontrare altri visitatori visto che spesso vediamo leoni marini sulla spiaggia e foche e pinguini sulle rocce vicino a Brighton.

Very comfortable Bach but requires a car to access shops, groceries and Dunedin attractions.The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and there was plenty of warm bedding provided.The beach is close by and very pretty.

This Bach is located across the street from a beautiful beach with stunning views! It is close enough to town (Dunedin, Green Island, Mosgiel) for food/supplies. Conveniently located not far from Otago Peninsula and lovely walking trails. It is peaceful and the beach was virtually deserted and serene…a lovely walk in mornings and evenings! The hosts are fabulous people and very responsive to any questions. Do plan on bringing most necessities for cooking. They provide basics and the kitchen is well stocked. From a price/value standpoint this is a gem!

We were so impressed with the cottage, which had two queen-size beds and twin beds in a third bedroom and two great bathrooms. The showers were great, with really good pressure. One bathroom had a washing machine and a separate dryer, which we found very useful. There was also a good-sized lounge, dining room and an excellent kitchen, though we did have a bit of a fight with the stovetop. I guess you have to get used to its controls. There was luxurious feeling carpet throughout. There was also an off-road parking spot and a nice outside seating area. What made this even more amazing was that only three weeks before the lounge and kitchen area was flooded. It was brilliant that Heather and Stan managed to have all the work done including new carpet, wallboards, painting and kitchen cupboards. You would never know to look at it that it had been so damaged such a short time ago. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Dunedin. There is still more to see and do, so we need to return soon. Stan and Heather communicated quickly and kept us up to date with progress in the house.

We were blown away by this pleasant little surprise property! Six of us stayed comfortably for three nights. Plenty of space for all of us and the two bathrooms were such a bonus, meaning we didn't have to stagger showers after each other. With all things needed for travelling with kids, it made the trip so much easier! It was only a short drive to the city, which was perfect.

The Classic Kiwi Batch was clean, comfortable and very warm for our winter stay. Ocean View is a great spot, nice and quiet with easy access to the city and surrounds. Would love to return to see the upgrades that were commencing right after we left.

I'd rate this 6 stars out of 5 if I could! This standout bach is truly a rare find in Dunedin & NZ due to an unbeatable combination of location, comfort, and price-value ratio. What we experienced in this home reflects nothing but the big-hearted generosity of our host, Stan.

What an absolutely treat! An amazing getaway. The house was so incredibly well set up and comfortable, we couldn't have wanted for more and the best part we could take our fur baby also. I'd highly recommend this to anyone, you won't regret booking the Bach.

Small and cozy stay in a seaside town 15 mins from Dunedin. Flat lawn fully fenced, great for backyard cricket/rugby with the kids. Bedding good but sheets a bit crinkly/noisy for us, we prefer cotton for feel/quietness but that's just our preference. Would def stay again!

Un très bel endroit, bien maintenu, bien équipé. Nous avons grandement apprécié notre séjour à cet endroit. Lorsque notre vol a été déplacé d'une journée, il a été facile de s'entendre avec le propriétaire pour bouger notre réservation. Merci pour tout!

Loved this bach. Excellent comms with the lovely owners. Liked the location right across the beach, perfect for sunsets and sunrises. Perfect for kids as it was fully fenced. Great value everything we needed. Thanks for having us!
