“Stayed a night at Charlesvoix House (Northside) on our way to a family funeral in Sault Ste Marie. This pretty town is walkable and worth a stopover. Writing this review to thank our host Terry. She reminded us of the treasures we had discovered at many bed and breakfasts in our travels in the 80s and 90s, before the days of airbnbs and sterile Wyndhams. “Old outdated rooms old carpet and furniture all the events in town more than doubled the room price Only option left was a room with a hot tub it reduced the size of the bathroom and shower I could hardly move around and I am average size. The lady at checkout couldn’t care less about my dissatisfaction Obviously we wont be staying there again the only good thing was that the breakfast was surprisingly decent”

“Our stay was great! The view is amazing and I loved that all of the rooms face the water. The room was so comfortable, and its in a great location. The only thing I rated less than 5 stars was the upkeep of the property itself, it could have used some landscaping/weed treatment and the bugs were so bad outside our room/on the property. Overall, it was great and we would definitely return!”

“Dirty and small. Rooms smelled of stale cigarettes. Bathroom fan didnt word. Stains on sheets and walls. Lock was broken on door.”
