“The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I was staying there for one night due to work. My room was exceptionally clean and my bed was that comfortable that I really did not want to get up in the morning. Shower was lovely. I only drink decaf and the hotel was really accommodating in putting decaf drinks on my room. I loved the original window, black out curtains did exactly what they was supposed to do. “The Lodge has everything you need for a peaceful getaway. It’s modern and comfortable and overlooks fields so completely private with hot tub, fire pit and bbq all ready to use
The Nags Head pub does good food and is walking distance. Our Host David is lovely and put up a Happy Birthday Banner for my Hubby nice touch ⭐️ ”

“This is our second visit to the hotel. Last year we stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. This time, we stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage, it was stunning, especially the modern bathroom with lovely quality toiletries. Both the breakfast & dinner were delicious. We enjoyed being able to choose a cooked breakfast from their varied selection. Would highly recommend. ”

“Stayed over Easter. Staff are brilliant, very helpful and attentive and friendly.
Menu for breakfast and dinner was lovely and great value for money.
The rooms are simply decorated, clean maybe slightly small but appreciate it is a very old building. The bed was very comfortable and room was nice and warm too. “Newly renovated rooms to a high specification, staff were very helpful from the moment I walked in the door. Great food, luckily for me it was a Sunday evening I arrived and managed to get an amazing carvery. Will definitely stay here again. ”
