“This is a complete gem of a B&B, 5 star all the way. Ken and Gwen are amazing hosts who go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay possible in their home. The rooms are beautifully furnished the beds excellent and the individual bathrooms sparkling. The Rose Arden has so much history and character in its period construction. “Great location, beautiful architecture but there was no dining options, the desk staff wear many hats so often there was a “be right back” sign out and some of them did not appear to enjoy working their shift.
Strong chlorine smell in the lobby, no dining options, the shower curtain fell down when I hung a wet towel on it (I’m old so I knew how to fix it), housekeeping every third day but if you appreciate character hotels those issues are worth the experience.”

“The breakfast was a joke. Had no eggs and no meat of any kind like bacon or sausages. Only had toast bagels cereal and yogurt and fruit. With the amount of cost to stay in a hotel it should include a good breakfast. That means one with eggs and meat”

“Desk clerk told me that we had a 1pm check out time but our room wasn’t on cleaning lady’s list . Tried to phone desk when our tv remote didn’t work but their phone was permanently “busy “. Swimming pool was the size of a large jacuzzi constantly full of kids— contrary to online photos!”

“I have very mixed feelings on this place , but its a nice place to stay .Staff was friendly.
Was disappointed that it says they have a hot tub to find out they dont , kinda why we picked that place .
Room was spacious and clean .but pictures online werent what we got
