Our family had an amazing stay at Elk Mountain Lodge! The location, just outside Durango, is ideal—offering stunning mountain views and easy access to all kinds of summer activities. The lodge was cozy, clean, and well-maintained. We loved being so close to outdoor adventures like hiking, biking, and rafting, while still just a short drive from downtown Durango. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this place is the perfect retreat.Highly recommend for families seeking both adventure and relaxation!

Great customer service

Due to the heavy snowstorm, there were issues with us being able to check in on time. However, the property manager was extremely communicative and worked with us to make sure we had a great vacation! The location is perfect, right next to Purgatory Ski Resort. We would stay here again.

Stunning Log Cabin

Gorgeous property with all the amenities we could’ve asked for. This home was perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of space for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, small appliances, etc. and the views were breath taking. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I would love to stay here again if we find ourselves back in the area.
