This beautifully remodeled 900 sq ft studio sits on the first floor of a private duplex, surrounded by 3 acres of pristine mountainside. With breathtaking views of the Animas Valley and a peaceful, secluded feel, it’s perfect for solo travelers or couples seeking a relaxing, romantic, or adventure-filled getaway.

Ideally situated between downtown Durango (15 minutes) and Purgatory Resort (15–20 minutes), the studio offers easy access to skiing, hiking, dining, and local attractions. After a day of exploring, unwind at Durango Hot Springs—just 5 minutes away.

DISCLAIMER: This studio is located beneath an upper-floor unit. You may hear conversations or footsteps at times. Quiet hours are 10pm–8am, though they may not always be enforceable. The hot tub is reserved for upstairs guests only.

A full-sized WASHER and DRYER are provided for your convenience.

Also, on the 1st floor there is utility closet with a full-sized washer and full-sized dryer for your use!

During the winter months, we advise all-wheel or 4-wheel drive due to the gravel driveway.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
DISCLAIMER: There may be guests upstairs and you may hear conversations or footsteps. We do have quiet hours b/w 10pm and 8am but this is not always easy to enforce. The hot tub on property is for the upper floor guests and will not be available for the studio guests.

For larger groups or those looking for extra space, you can also rent the entire cabin.

This duplex features separate entrances for each of its two units, offering privacy and security for guests. However, if you choose to rent the entire duplex, an indoor connection between the units creates a seamless flow, allowing you to enjoy the space as one expansive home.
