Le nostre 5 camere da letto, 4 bagni, 4.300 mq. ft. casa di lusso (con ascensore) è assolutamente mozzafiato! Arroccato sopra il fondovalle, a pochi passi dalle pendici, ha una vista libera delle cime di quasi 14.000 piedi delle Montagne degli Aghi, la gamma caratteristica che ha ispirato Jean Claude Killy a descrivere il Purgatorio come "lo scenario più bello da questo lato le Alpi italiane ".

All'interno della casa troverete un rifugio principale di 1200 piedi quadrati al piano inferiore che include incredibili viste sulle montagne degli aghi dal letto king size, vasca idromassaggio per due persone e doccia / sauna a vapore. Il ritiro principale comprende anche un camino a gas bilaterale tra la camera da letto e la vasca idromassaggio, acqua "RO", acqua "calda", lavandino e frigorifero. La camera da letto adiacente dispone di un letto matrimoniale e una culla. L'area spogliatoio / vanità ha i pavimenti riscaldati e la cabina armadio e la lavanderia sono le dimensioni della baia garage sopra. Il livello di entrata della casa ha due camere da letto (letto matrimoniale in uno e letti a castello nell'altro (singolo sopra singolo) e un bagno completo (vasca da bagno giapponese).

Il livello principale offre una cucina gourmet invidiabile (il sogno di uno chef) con elettrodomestici di alto livello e viste mozzafiato sulle montagne. Il massiccio camino in pietra (stufa a legna con avviamento a gas) raggiunge i 25 "con le spettacolari travi strutturali e il soffitto in legno levigato di lingua e boschetto (illuminato per l'atmosfera notturna). Perfetta per intrattenere, la grande sala, la sala da pranzo e la cucina sono tutte aperte a un muro di finestre e un ampio ponte per godersi l'incredibile luce alpina quando il sole colpisce le cime della gamma Needles. C'è un mazzo privato su ciascuno dei tre piani di questa incredibile casa. Porta la scala a chiocciola fino allo straordinario soppalco che include un bagno completo, un bar completo (refrigeratore per vino, frigorifero e lavastoviglie), tavolo da gioco / puzzle.

Non esiste una residenza migliore per ospitare la tua visita nell'area di Durango e Purgatory Resort.

I think the house is beautiful and the views are beautiful! I feel that when you book management should give an instruction packet to tell how garbage is picked up ect! How some of the extras are to work or at least make sure they work before guest arrive! Like the sauna! And property management should look at site before renting to make sure employees are doing or fixing exactly what needs done properly! The facility is worth the stay, just need a little more communication for the amount you pay to stay! 😊

Overall the home's location and views were fantastic. We were somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of the floors and the home overall feeling worn. We ran into a number of issues including the microwave not working, the second floor shower was inoperable, the grill had not been cleaned, floor mats in the master bath were dirty, etc. Besides these details we greatly enjoyed our stay.

Unique multi-layer layout with fabulous views. House was comfortable and met our needs, but… Parts were great-spa tub, sauna, heated floor, fire burning fireplace, loft, balconies. Parts were also not great-minor annoying broken parts here and there, nasty vent hood, junky pantry and garage, shabby LR furniture. With a little more care it could be so much more.

Beautiful property close to the slopes! If you are not in the mountains to ski, this may not be the property for you just due to the access to dining, shopping, etc. But if you are looking to ski Purgatory, this location is fabulous! Beautiful home, Stunning views and very attentative property management. However the stairs are no joke: if you have someone in your group who is not fully able to handle stairs, this may not be the property for you. But it was great for us! We Will be coming back!

We had a large group stay and it slept everyone comfortably. Beautiful place and great location. We did have some trouble getting up the icy driveway in our rental vans.. they provided salt which helped, the kitchen counters wasn’t very clean, (we gave them a good cleaning upon arrival) Over all the house was clean and neat. There is a lot of stairs (the elevator was locked) so if you have knee problems just a warning that this may not be for you. We had some minor issues. The kitchen filtered water was very slow (like the filter needed changed) and the faucet hot water took 25- 30 mins to get hot enough to do dishes, the Dryer wouldn’t dry clothes very well (again just needed a deep vent cleaning) and the jacuzzi tub felt a little dirty.. we only uses it once so no deal breaker there! We Loved loved the master suite. It had lots of privacy and we enjoyed the sauna and steam shower. (I have trouble breathing high altitude so we used the steam shower every day)! We would definitely stay here again. You can’t beat the views and the convenience of getting to the slopes!

I’ve been to this property 4 times. Over all it is a good experience. There are just a few inconveniences that I would like to address. First, the hot water was not working due to the propane company not being able to service the tank. I understand it was due to weather but still annoying to be forced to take a cold shower. Second, the dry sauna has been out of service every time I’ve ever been to this property. It would be nice if this can be fixed and usable. And finally, it would be nice if the overall property could be spruced up. The first time I visited the property was in 2013 and even though it is still a nice house, it seems like it hasn’t changed much since then. Same bed spreads, curtains, etc…

We really want to love this property and hope that the owners and property managers put the necessary love, money, and time into making it shine again. Check in was smooth but upon entering we realized we were told incorrect information: the main floor is a flight of stairs up and we had someone in a wheelchair. The person who answered our initial, pre booking questions, obviously had never been in the property. There is an elevator but it is broken. The biggest disappointment was that all of the blinds on the main floor, with the mountain views, were broken. The property manager said that maintenance would come the following day to fix them, but they never came at all. The cloth upholstery of the stools, pillows and bedspreads were very dusty and the dishwasher didn't clean the dishes. The window screens allow gnats in, but need to be open as there's no air conditioning in the summer. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a hot water situation- it takes 10 minutes to get hot water on the upper levels and the kitchen sink's hot water doesn't work (on the plus side the shower water pressure is fantastic). The ice machine is broken. The family room speakers are broken. Several light switches are broken. Also the place only has 3 private bedrooms (the queen and bunk bed rooms on the entry level, and the main floor queen). All bathrooms are shared. The basement level master and en suite double/queen is not private (no door to shared master bath and the double/queen entry door is inside the master). There's only parking for 2 small to mid sized vehicles. We felt neglected by the property managers but our friend group was awesome and we had an amazing time regardless. The neglected castle became a sort of a joke and the broken things just became funny. If the place was less expensive it would all be acceptable, but at nearly $900 per night, we give the place 2 stars.

We enjoyed our stay, it was a quiet atmosphere, with easy access to Durango & Silverton. There are a lot of stairs in this house, so be prepared. The master bedroom is two flights down from the main living area. Also it took a while to get hot water to the bathroom, but if you turn on the shower, it speeds up the process. Overall we enjoyed our vacation time in this home.

Great home. Plenty of room. We had 8 adults and 4 teens. Beautiful views. There are 4 levels. For those looking at this property, one needs to be able to walk steps. The elevator was locked. We had no problems. Great place.

A large group of our friends rented this property to stay at while we explored Colorado via motorcycle. The place was great except that one of the queen bedrooms is strangely located within the master suite, offering zero privacy for sleeping or using the bathroom. Luckily one couple had cancelled and we were able to make do with the remaining bedrooms. That strange configuration should be made more clear. Other than that, it’s a lovely house and we enjoyed our time!
