Downtown Durango-New Custom Timber Frame-the Carriage House

Il Carriage House è una bella casa su misura situato in una zona vivace del centro storico di Durango. La casa è stata completata nel 2011 ed è stata costruita secondo i più alti standard di qualità, con accenti di telaio in legno caldo, pavimenti a calore radiante, contatori e lavelli in cemento colorato. Possediamo altre due case in centro: la Treehouse, una casa vacanza con tre camere da letto che ospita 10 persone (vrbo # 312061) e il nascondiglio di Durango che ospita 10 camere da letto su 4 (vrbo # 1150651).
Il Carriage House dispone di 3 camere da letto, tutte situate al piano superiore. Il master ha il proprio bagno spazioso e un letto king. Una seconda camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale. Poi c'è una terza camera da letto che ha una regina insieme a una gemella in un loft di questa stanza. L'intero secondo piano ha splendidi soffitti in legno a volta. Al piano di sotto, c'è un bagno completo, una grande sala, e la cucina, che ha posti a sedere bar, elettrodomestici in acciaio inox, e ripiani in cemento. All'esterno, c'è una veranda e un patio posteriore, che è dotato di una griglia e salotto. All'interno, il sistema di acqua calda on-demand garantire avrete sempre un sacco di acqua calda. La casa è ora dotato AC. Abbiamo messo singole unità nelle camere da letto e uno nello spazio abitativo, quindi sarà fresco abbondanza. Questa casa è una casa vacanza legale e consentito così non ci saranno problemi con il vostro soggiorno (progetto # 2012-65, permettere # 12-033).

Questo è il luogo perfetto per godersi lo stile di vita Durango, mentre ci si trova in un quartiere occupato a pochi minuti da ristoranti, negozi, la pista ciclabile, il fiume Animas, e parchi cittadini. We had a great stay here! It is walking distance from downtown, the narrow gauge railroad, and the river path, which was lovely. The host communicated well. The setup was a little bit difficult with all the bedrooms on the second floor and only the master bath. All other visitors had to use the first floor bathroom. The kitchen also could have been more well-stocked. Overall, we enjoyed our time in Durango.

We stayed with 2 other couples. Wonderful rental in downtown Durango. Easy walk to everything (less than 8-10 blocks). We appreciated that there was a separate air conditioner in each room. The master bath is fabulous! The kitchen is well equipped and the place is very clean. Cable TV so we could watch the baseball playoffs (without streaming).There is A LOT to do within walking distance. Wish we could have stayed longer.If you have not yet, take the Durango - Silverton train (walking distance). Either the Alamosa or Cinco Animas car (the last car on the train). It costs a bit more, but worth it.Also, make sure to visit the Durango Distillery. Great vibe and adult beverages.

An exceptionally clean and well-kept property. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living area was a great place to relax after adventures around town. We enjoyed being very close to the Animas riverwalk and were able to walk across the pedestrian bridge at Rotary Park to easily access the Durango Trout Hatchery and Durango Public Library & Botanic Gardens. This would be an ideal property for anyone keen on using bikes to access the Animas River Trail. The loft bed was a favorite for our kids and they also enjoyed being able to step out on the front porch to see the steam train leaving for and returning from Silverton.

Beginning to end, our stay was effortless and terrific, leaving us to enjoy maximum time vacationing. The home is beautiful and well appointed, and so many things are within walking distance. We truly enjoyed the home and our week in Durango!

Highly recommended! As experienced guests (400 nights in 50 short term rentals), this home checks the boxes that matter. From a quality and design standpoint, this is one of the best properties we have ever experienced. It’s stylish and cozy. The furniture is comfortable, and there’s plenty of room to spread out. The main bathroom is simply stunning. It’s also an easy 10 minute walk to the center of town. The host Andrew is responsive, helpful, and friendly.When we return to the area, we will definitely stay here!

Great location! Such a beautiful area to walk around — the Animas River Trail is amazing to have so close, especially with the botanical garden right along it. We saw so much wildlife, explored downtown, and enjoyed plenty of restaurants. Got our steps in and loved every minute of it. Lots of wildlife and deer you name we seen it!

This place was perfect for me & siblings, attending a family reunion in Durango. The house is exactly as advertised and was very clean. This host provided the most accessories, i.e. towels, sheets, toilet paper, etc., than any house I have rented. The location is close to the train station, Mesa Verde, a grocery store and multiple restaurants. We would definitely stay here again! (One suggestion - add a "bar" to the main bathtub for short people to hold onto as the tub is pretty deep to step into) Thanks again Andrew - great place!

This house was great! It was exactly as represented on the website. Really clean, plenty of space. It had everything we could possibly need, and was well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedrooms had plenty of plugs next to the beds, there were soaps and body wash in the bathrooms. Plenty of games in the living room, and tvs in each bedroom. It is centrally located, and easy to get to. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay in Durango! My husband and I, with our dog, had a great one week stay working remote. Communication and check in were smooth. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor space in the front and back of the house. So nice to have a parking spot right outside the door. Walkable to town and right next to a park, brewery, and the river trail. We loved enjoying the trail and the town right near the place!

This house was a great fit for our family of 5 during a week-long stay in Durango. The kids loved that we were less than a block from the river, hatchery and trails. The house was clean and easy to keep cool even during the middle of the summer. Host was attentive to any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend.

First trip to Durango. The Carriage House is perfectly located and most of our destinations were within 10 minutes by car. AC units worked well and were greatly appreciated. Photos in the listing were accurate. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this rental.

The Carriage House

We enjoyed our family reunion with cousins, all our adult children and parents. Easy access to everything. Would highly recommend this home. My brother rented another house and one of our cousins lives here. It was very easy for us all to connect to be together. Durango has a lot to offer! Thank you! Weekend Getaway

Our family of four stayed here for a weekend of soccer. We were looking for a house with enough room and beds for two kids and four adults in a walkable location. This house delivered! Everyone was happy to watch the train steam by, to catch the walking path along the river, and to have plenty of walkable space for the dog.

Great house- close to everything

Home was clean, well stocked, and in a location that’s walkable to many places like Main St, the river trail, the train, and so much more! We rented e-bikes on Main St and cruised the river trail. The home is really close to the trail at the 1/2 way point. So great to be able to stop off to fill waters etc. The Animas Brewery is literally a 1 min walk away, too! One thing that should be noted is the home sits near the road and the train tracks so if you are not accustomed to traffic noise, it might be bothersome to you. The train whistle only blows a few times a day, and we never heard it before 8:30am so that was not an issue for us at all. We look forward to staying at the Carriage House again. Thank you for a great experience.
