“It was a surprise trip for hubby. As we pulled up to the gates, he let out a huge WOW, I did too. The lady that greeted us and showed us around was lovely. Our room, the Nest, was beautiful as was the rest of the castle. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast and met other members of staff, they were lovely. It was like being in a fairy tale. “Glangwili Mansion is a beautiful upmarket B&B, quite as good as all the previous reviews have rated it. The owners, George and Linda (and their friendly dog Willow), were welcoming and friendly and great at making suggestions of places to visit and places to eat. There is a great pub nearby and an excellent restaurant a little further away - for Londoners a meal to match anything in the city for half the price. “Lovely stay. Hosts are so welcoming and friendly- we had a homemade Vegan cake that was delicious with a pot of tea when we arrived. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. The room also had a lovely balcony with views of the beautiful garden and the sea. Breakfast was great too, perfect way to set yourself up for the day exploring or relaxing.”
