“Lovely hotel, friendly staff we went half board for 2 night's . Plenty of choices on the evening menu menu and cooked breakfast. Great location to stay ,we went on the steam train to abwrwrstwith forgive my spelling ,didnt get round to the walk but a good excuse to come back .”

“We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary, drove over 4hrs and was not disappointed. The grounds are absolutely stunning, our room was simply amazing. The staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make your stay comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back soon. The rare bats that live in the tower are a really lovely feature to an already incredible venue, when we arrived it was dusk and they were very active, a real sight to behold. “The staff were so helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The food was out of this world, so tasty and beautifully presented. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was clean with a huge walk in shower. There was a kettle and a wide variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits too. We both slept well. The curtains were blackout so weren't disturbed by the light either.”
