Traditional Welsh cottage in the village of Dyffryn Ardudwy

Positioned amongst the rugged landscape of the Snowdonia National Park, in the picture-perfect village of Dyffryn Ardudwy, rests this charming, stone-built farmhouse, Ty Cerrig.

Boasting a characterful interior, with original stonework and traditional wooden furnishings, whilst enjoying close proximity to both the coast and countryside of North Wales, Ty Cerrig offers the perfect base for both families and friends alike.

A spacious driveway greets you at the foot of this detached holiday home, offering ample off-road parking for cars, boats and canoes, and making touring the delights of your surroundings an easy task. Stepping inside, discover the open-plan kitchen/diner, where charming wooden cupboards house all of the essential amenities required to rustle up hearty meals throughout your stay. When dinner is served, choose to dine at the dining table with seating for six or amongst the scenic greenery of the garden, boasting a backdrop the glistering waters of the coast and the Llyn Peninsula.

Moving through the property be welcomed into the snug sitting room, where a warming woodburning stove sits within an exposed stone fireplace, enticing you to kick off your shoes and unwind with a moment of peace in front of the Smart TV as the crackle of the fire provides an idyllic soundtrack.

Climbing the stairs to the first floor of this wonderful abode, you'll find a spacious family bathroom, where you can indulge in soothing bubble baths or a revitalising rinse before climbing into your pyjamas, ready for bed.Three well-presented bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements, sure to appeal to families, friends and children sharing, with a sumptuous king-size, a double, and a twin room to choose from, with the latter suitable for guests of all ages!

With miles of glorious sandy beaches a short distance from your holiday home, you're ideally positioned to enjoy the seaside town of Barmouth to the South with a great choice of cafes and restaurant on the harbour. A blue flag beach is great for swimming and days on the beach the funfair and donkey rides are a great part of the traditional British summer.

A 15 minute drive to the north will take you to the castle town of Harlech including the renowned Royal St. David's Golf Club. There is a choice of steam Railways offering scenic rides in the heart of the snowdonia National Park. Whilst you're in the area, be sure to take advantage of the rural delights, where you can lace up your walking boots and hike to the summit of Mount Snowdon, delve deep underground with a tour of the ancient quarry mines at Zip World Llechwedd, or simply follow the network of walking, cycling and hiking trails to your heart's content. Explore the delights of both the coast and country of North Wales with a stay for six at Ty Cerrig.

Perfect holiday home

Ein wirklich reizendes, modernes Ferienhaus, tadellos sauber, eine hervorragend ausgestattete Küche, liebevoll und mit Geschmack eingerichtet, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Der große Garten mit einer Sitzgelegenheit für 6 Personen und tollen Sonnenuntergängen hat den Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht. Fantastische Betten! Wir würden dieses Haus immer wieder buchen und können es ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen.
