Poppa’s Paradise is where three generations of our family unplugged, laughed, and made summer memories in the Wisconsin Northwoods. Now it’s your turn to roast marshmallows by the fire, play late-night games, and wake up to the scent of pine drifting through the trees.
Mornings begin with loon calls and coffee on the dock as the lake slowly comes to life. Wander into town for pancakes at Toad in the Hole or a latte from Red Canoe Coffee. Spend your day swimming, paddling, fishing, or simply dozing in the shade. As the sun dips low, grill dinner and gather around the lakeside firepit beneath a sky full of stars. Toast a few marshmallows, share some laughs, and repeat—it’s the rhythm of summer at Poppa’s Paradise.
Nestled in Sugar Camp, Wisconsin—perfectly tucked between Eagle River and St. Germain—this cozy retreat puts you close to hiking trails, iconic supper clubs, and small-town diners. You’re a short drive from beloved local favorites like The White Stag’s legendary steaks and Old Fashioneds, Toad in the Hole’s hearty breakfasts, and Red Canoe Coffee’s cozy atmosphere. Spend a fun afternoon at Elmer’s Fun Park, pick up treats from Tremblay’s Fudge & Turtles or Minocqua Popcorn, and cap it all off with a sunset stop at Andy’s Pontoon Saloon.

This home features a private dock for swimming, fishing, or floating with a drink in hand, a lakeside firepit with Adirondack chairs under starry skies, three bedrooms that sleep six comfortably, fiber internet for streaming or work, a full kitchen with washer and dryer, and a wooded lot that provides privacy and a true connection to nature.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Dock details: The dock is about 30 feet in length and about three feet deep at the end.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
