“Room was clean. However, none of the external digital locks on the doors , the swimming pool entrance or the gym entrance were working. The external doors were left wide open probably all night as the locks weren’t working, not safe. The staff said that they’ve been out of order for more than a year. At night, there was only 1 staff/person at the hotel and I had to wait for over 30 mins to get to him to get a bedding set. Clearly under staffed for the rush long weekend. The breakfast was ok....

“This cabin was secluded in the woods, cozy and comfortable. Pretty clean and had the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. The outdoor space was nice to have with the weather being so nice during our stay. The location was relatively close to all the trails we explored. The hot tub was a huge plus!! Questions were answered promptly with the host, and they were very kind. Little things that we experienced during our stay- Most of the outdoor lights were out or didn’t work, and we had to buy...

“Great area. The River house was perfect for the 4 of us. Very convenient to downtown, the stores and Ellijay area. The River House has several sitting areas outside which was very nice except it rained the whole time, so utilized the porch furniture a lot. Definitely would rent this place again. Our favorite wineries are The Roo & Buckley’s.”

“The bed was comfortable. The room was huge. The breakfast was wonderful. Sausage, or bacon? Bacon cereals and waffles waffles and the and yogurt and all kinds of kinds of food. The place was great. The people were great. The one thing I have to tell everyone if you want a room with a view, do not take room 215!!!!”

“Staff helpful! They do not have laundry service at this location. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants and train. The property was pretty clean but did allow pets so there was a good bit of dog hair especially in the elevator - if you have allergies this might be an issue. They were understaffed so I will give them a little grace and thanks to the staff that did come to work.”
