Hotel in zona East End, Galveston

“A beautiful old historic home just a couple blocks from shopping and dining! We loved the home and the location.”

“Michael and Rosie were absolutely accommodating and wonderful to converse with. The property was amazing, and offered a plethora of history. The breakfast was great, highly recommended. Will try the German cuisine on our next visit. ”

“Yes, the breakfast was well prepared, the coffee excellent. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The stairs were not vacuumed as well as they could have been, neither the floor of my room but the bathroom was spotless. Parking is on the streets but it is safe. The house has so much character and atmosphere. I love staying there. ”

“A TRUE beach hotel, in ambience, location and amenities! The only flaw ( which adds to the ambience) is no elevators, etc. Got to be able to do them stairs here! Would come again . . .says it all!”

“Need a change up on breakfast meet, bacon or sausage would be nice. The handicap shower is not safe. The water spilled onto floor making it unsafe to stand up or walk. Shower curtain is too short to do any good with the water from shower.”

“Unexpected situation ”

“Love the vibes, the hotel was so clean, the pool was warm and had clean towels ready . The only con was the lighting in the room was very dim .”

“The location was great and breakfast was good. The bed sheets and pillowcases were wrinkled and didn't look clean. The bathmat had people's long hair on both sides. I found left over takeout food in the microwave. I didn't know they charge for parking and the receipt was not available. I prefer to find a better place to stay next time.”

“Not good. Pictures are NOT what it looks like. The rooms are so small you have to walk to other side 1 at a time. Not a deal breaker, but it was so very loud. The linens wers dirty, asked for a remote and was told to use our phone if there wasnt one. Then the next morning a man showed up that worked there in a yellow shirt and pushed the door open, thank god i had got my shirt on just in time. Then a lady called and was soo rude , asked if we needed assistance, i said last night we did but we...

“we had a great experience. Everyone was so nice. It was convenient to the beach and also to go to the other side to the Bayside. It’s a beautiful hotel. The management and staff were very nice and gracious and helpful coffee spot on location. Pools were heated and wonderful I recommend.”
