We spent two nights at the Wild Goose Inn and the experience exceeded all expectations, which were already high! The location of the B&B in in the heart of East Lansing, but you feel isolated from the surroundings. There are many great little shops nearby (including a killer record/music store) and many choices for lunch/dinner within walking distance.
Al and Paul were wonderful hosts and did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. They were willing and able to answer our questions about the property and the area.
Breakfast was delicious, in particular the muffins, which were out-of-this-world good.
Oh, yeah, the room. You just can't ask for anything more. Ours had a private deck, which wasn't all that useful in the winter but should be spectacular in the warmer months. Inside there's a massive fireplace, relaxing hot tub, and very comfortable bed.
We will most certainly be back.
