“Walking up and noticing the weekly stay discount was a little off putting. I had my 4yr with me, so I was a little apprehensive. But figured we would look anyway. Room in fact was clean, sheets and bedding smelt like bleach, which makes me feel better. Back area was beautiful! We even mined some gold flakes, which was fun for us. Staff was very friendly. Only eye sore/discomfort was the doors. Front door seemed to be damaged and bathroom door was also a repair job. But all in all, I'd stay there...

“The entire property could use a facelift: repaint the wood trim, stairways, etc., and then—gee—sweep the walkways clear of leaves. The continental breakfast is limited to instant oatmeal and instant grits; toast (make it your own), some items to smear such as peanut butter. Medium boiled (some were soft, other hard) eggs on Saturday were an added benefit. Juices were available, and the coffee was a decent strong brew. I did not use the hot tub, nor the small indoor pool, nor did I see anyone...

“This place was super cute and full of character. Tucked into the mountains, but easily accessible. There is a general store across the street. The lady that checked me in was very nice. The lounge was rustic and inviting and was stocked with games and a pool table. They have indoor hot tubs (which I sadly didnt have time to use). My room was clean and comfortable. Free waffles and coffee for breakfast! I'm not sure when I will be back through the area, but I know where to stay when I do.”
