“It’s not a new property BUT the room was clean and the water was HOT. The few employees I saw were nice.. (I didn’t try to find anyone). Hotel is easy to find and has a few food places nearby. *I base my ratings on “did it meet my expectations?” and “did price match expectations?” ”

“Nice and cheap motel near South transportation point. Room is very big and comfortable. The only two negative points are the AC not controllable and the shower a little bit not practical. Be sure to wait at 7 to take some stuff for breakfast because usually people is not so kind and they lined up to take everything, at 8 am everything is finished and the food doesn't get replaced until next morning. Assistance during breakfast would be required. ”

“Our stay was fantastic from the very first staff greeting to the last. Beautiful hotel, clean, upscale, and right in the heart of Madison. Our room was a one bedroom king suite and had a beautiful view of both the city and the lake. The complimentary drinks and snacks during cocktail hour along with the delicious made to order omelets and breakfast items (also included with your stay) were a wonderful bonus. Staff were all so kind and welcoming. We will ALWAYS choose this hotel anytime we come...

“A truly unique place to stay. A bit of a time capsule from another era, in a great way. We arrived later in the evening, so we checked in with the barkeep downstairs. Received free drink tickets and free breakfast vouchers for the Come Back In next door. Being just a couple blocks from the Capitol, a lake view from our room, makes this a prime location for a visit to Madison. Way better than a generic cookie cutter room at the corporate options.”
