“Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement.”

“500 year old hotel in a very pretty town. Great room with everything needed for a short stay. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. Very friendly staff. Stayed here last year as well and will definitely stay here again.”

“We have stayed here four or five times now and always such a nice base to visit family close by. Always a warm welcome and great breakfast to start the day. Warm room and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom is kept very clean. Free parking is a bonus.”

“I have stayed before on many occasions, although no staff to greet you now, the lock boxes for room keys works effectively. Staff are super lovely, very accommodating. Breakfast was tasty, paid extra for cooked option, but plentiful continental. Would highly recommend. Warm regards, Heidi and Evie😄”

La pecca più grande è il servizio di pulizia in tempo di covid, che non viene svolto su base giornaliera. Bisogna richiedere alla reception la pulizia settimanale e a me è successo che per due giorni non mi hanno fatto le pulizie per un disguido di comunicazione interno.
