  • Un moderno appartamento con una camera da letto, situato in un tranquillo cul-de-sac nella New Town di Edimburgo, a soli 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della città. Completamente rifornito con arredi e attrezzature nuovissimi di altissima qualità a novembre 2011.     Abbiamo acquistato questo appartamento per la sua posizione e anche per la sua grande quantità di luce naturale e per l'alta qualità delle finiture. Pavimenti in quercia, riscaldamento a pavimento nella doccia, altoparlanti incorporati per la docking station per iPod, connessione Wi-Fi gratuita, sistema di ingresso sicuro e area privata dell'atrio per sedersi al sole, o il piccolo balcone privato fuori dal salone. Siamo al primo piano, a livello dell'atrio e c'è un ascensore. Tutte le porte sono abbastanza larghe per l'accesso con sedia a rotelle. L'appartamento sarebbe adatto a coloro che hanno mobilità ridotta.
    La zona cucina è completamente attrezzata con un forno e un piano cottura, un grande frigorifero e un congelatore, una lavasciuga, una lavastoviglie, un forno a microonde e l'abbiamo rifornito di porcellana Raymond Blanc, le posate di Viner

    C'è un supermercato Margiota (aperto dalle 07:00 alle 10:00 ogni giorno) e un bancomat proprio dall'altra parte dell'atrio e attraverso l'altro condominio. The New Town Deli all'angolo serve la colazione dalle 7. 00, ottimi pranzi da portare via o mangiare. Il pluripremiato negozio di pesce e patatine a 4 stelle "Alba Dora" è proprio dietro l'angolo e la pasticceria Cuckoo serve le migliori torte della tazza di sempre.

    Il posteggio dei taxi si trova anche dall'altra parte dell'atrio, attraverso il prossimo condominio, così come le fermate degli autobus se si vuole andare più lontano, o non fare passeggiate.

    Spese di parcheggio di £ 2. 20 all'ora dalle 8.00 alle 17.30 solo dal lunedì al venerdì.
    Tra le 17:30 e le 8:30 nei giorni feriali e tutto il giorno il sabato e la domenica non ci sono restrizioni nelle aree di parcheggio sulla strada o singole linee gialle.

Excellent Property and Host

The property is perfect for a stay in Edinburgh. Within walking distance of most attractions. If too far away there are plenty of transportation options. Quiet and safe neighborhood provided for relaxation in the evenings without the hustle and bustle of the city.

Lovely apartment, helpful host

First, the host met us later than planned as we had to adapt to train strikes. The apartment was lovely and we were provided more than just the necessities which made our stay feel more personal and accommodating. It's in a nice part of Edinburgh itself and mostly convenient for getting into the city and tourist attractions.

Superb Flat In A Central Location

There is nothing that hasn't been thought about in this property - from the ability to plug in your own music & play it through the ceiling mounted speakers, through games, books, DVDs, maps and a really comfy night's sleep. The flat was immaculately clean and well maintained, and is in a nice quiet area.

Fantastic property in a great location with a most helpful and understanding property manager

The property was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Steven was most helpful and understanding when we needed to change our payment method after making the booking. He also returned some clothing that we had left behind after our stay. The parking was a little difficult during the week (weekend was fine) but that was well communicated prior to our visit so we knew it going in. We would highly recommend this property.

A localização surpreendeu pela positiva. O apartamento está muito bem equipado, é confortável e estava irrepreensível. A cidade é linda e foi possível visitar tudo o que tínhamos planeado sem usar transportes públicos. O fringe foi a cereja em cima do bolo!

Quiet, comfortable flat in excellent location

This is a small flat but there is everything you need for a stay in Edinburgh for a single person or couple. The flat was spotless, quiet, and the location within minutes of the bustling community of Stockbridge and around 15 minutes walk to Princes Street and central Edinburgh.

Lovely, clean and comfortable.

We were really pleased to find that the apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable. It was in a quiet location, but within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Stephen met us on arrival and was really helpful. We only had one very minor complaint and that was that although there was a set of wine glasses there was only one glass tumbler...could have done with two more so that we had one each and one for the bathroom, but that's just being picky! Lovely stay. Would book here again and would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Perfect holiday rental

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the apartment and I will be booking again next year. The apartment is very quiet as it's tucked away from the main road. It's got everything you could need and my friend and I couldn't believe how everything looked brand new. It has been very carefully looked after. The bedroom has an enormous bed with proper bedding and a wardrobe with a decent number of coat hangers, while the sofa bed was also apparently very comfortable and the lounge came with a second wardrobe for people staying in there. The kitchen is very well equipped with a full oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is stunning with a fantastic shower. Again it all looked like it was brand new. There are really lovely touches in the bathroom, for example little bars of soap and shower gels, all from a decent brand. The location is great as it's about a ten minute walk into town, it is uphill but we got rapidly used to it, or there are two buses the 27 and 23 that got straight up into town. Along the road are several coffee shops, there is a great cupcake shop just a few doors down or further up there is the Archipelago bakery who did a wonderful afternoon tea. Just round the corner is Earthy Cafe and store who serve delicious lunches and have a great whole food shop. I would recommend going here to stock up on food but there are plenty of supermarkets on the same road as the flat. The Botanic Gardens are also just round the corner, so close that we were able to pop in several times. The centre of Edinburgh is very close, you can even walk to Harvey Nichols from the apartment which is next to the Portrait Gallery which we loved and has a fantastic cafe. As Londoners we were thrilled at the number of artisan coffee shops in the area.

10/10 for everything

This was the perfect flat for us - not exactly on holiday, rather visiting family and new born baby in nearby Comely Bank, so the ideal situation: near bus routes, shops, eateries. We were impressed by how clean and comfortable the flat was; well equipped with the essentials; and very quiet for a city centre flat. Strongly recommended for two people. We shall be back.

Edinburgh long weekend

Immaculate, comfortable, well appointed & conveniently located apartment close to the recently noted 'best area to live in Edinburgh - Stockbridge'. Lots of lovely restaurants, bakeries & breakfast/brunch places nearby (quite a few of which are highly rated on Tripadvisor) & easily in walking distance of main attractions in the city centre. Bus stop & taxi rank outside one of the two entrances. Enjoyed a fabulous weekend in our home city & would definitely use this accommodation again if did not need a car.

3 nuits passées en famille (2 enfants+ 2 adultes) dans cet appartement confortable d'Edinburgh. Suffisamment spacieux, très propre et tenu par de charmants propriétaires. Situé dans un quartier très calme, comptez env. 30 min de marche pour rejoindre la vieille ville. Pas besoin de voiture pour rayonner et découvrir la ville. Je recommande sans hésiter. Clean, quiet, and convenient

Very well kept accomodations, with easy access to bus. Lots of shops and areas to explore in nearby Stockbridge and the Gardens. Getting to Old Town was just a short hop on the bus. We loved the heated floors in the bathroom! Very pleasant stay. Thank you.

lovely compact appartement

The property was just what we 3 friends needed; a place to rest from discovering Edinburgh. It was spotless, a good bed and sofabed, everything we needed was there and it is situated in a very nice neighbourhood. A great deli around the corner for breakfast or coffee and a good walk up the hill to the Old Town but also near bus and taxi. Contact with the family was quick and easy, they were flexible with arriving time as there was no one renting it right before us. I would love to come again to see more of the city and would stay here again, cosy but modern, quiet yet nearby lots of great sites! Thank you!

No Car? Perfect, Car? Take care

The Apartment was as advertised. Nice and clean and also handy walking distance to all the attractions. A good bonus was the Sound System we could hook our mobile to. IMPORTANT: A downside to the apartment would definitely be with parking. There are limited on-street parking spaces close to the apartment and you could end up having to park quiet a distance away if unlucky - the traffic wardens are VERY alert in this area and I seen one issuing tickets in the street on the Monday morning so beware of this (I actually had to run out and move mine before he got to it!). If you do not have a car however I recommend 100%

Beautiful, modern apartment close to city center

Beautiful, modern, comfortable, clean apartment. Very conveniently located 10 minutes walking distance from city center (20 min if you get all the red light!) and there are a couple of grocery stores and plenty of restaurants close to the building.The owners were a delight to deal with and very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and in Edinburgh in general. Fabulous city!

Great stay in Edinburgh

This apartment was exactly as described. Clean, immaculate and it has everyhting we need. Upon checking-in, John and Reta explained about all facilities in the apartment. Small supermarket and good bakery nearby. Parking is available right in front of apartment. We dont need the car at all as it's walking distance to city center and all Edinburgh attractions. Even if you dont feel like walking the hilly city, bus stop is just right outside the door at merely GBP4 pp for unlimited dayride. We highly recommend this apartment.

clean, bright and modern - we loved it

Will certainly come back. Very clean and new, friendly owners, good value, definitely a winner. Only very small negative is that "10 mins walk to the city centre" would leave most people puffing for breath. But Edinburgh is a big place and as long as you realise the flat is not on Princes Street or by the castle you are fine and will enjoy it. It's probably more interesting for that reason.

Quiet apartment in great location

Handy to the town centre and Stockbridge. Close to a bus service and excellent restaurants and foodie haunts. Apartment is quiet, clean and has everything you need. To me the bonus was the very helpful owners who replied to emails promptly beforehand, made sure we had detailed directions and then went above and beyond normal service with some extra help with car minding and taxiing. Made our stay in Edinburgh

Great Apartment in New Town

This place was absolutely perfect for 3 ladies who needed a cozy place to stay! It is perfectly appointed and very comfortable and the owners were amazing and made us feel right at home. Loved the neighborhood feeling and being able to walk to the grocery store and up to the little corner restaurant for breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!
