Wonderful place to stay

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of nearby shops nearby to grad necessities or get something to eat. The views are worth the hike up the stairs!

The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and in a very convenient location with easy access to many places in Edinburgh. I would give a good rating to both the location and the apartment itself. However, there were two important issues that I wish had been made clearer in the listing. First, there are around 60 steps leading up to the building, which is quite a lot, especially when carrying luggage. The stairway was also very dirty. I really think this should be clearly mentioned in the property description so guests know what to expect before booking. Second, we booked the apartment for five people, but the sleeping arrangements were not really suitable for five guests. There was one bedroom with two single beds and another bedroom with one king bed, which only provides proper beds for four people. The fifth person would have had to sleep on the sofa or on the floor. Overall, I liked the apartment itself and the location, but I cannot give a high overall rating because of the large number of entrance stairs, the condition of the stairway, and the sleeping arrangement for the fifth guest.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this property. Being able to see the castle outside of our windows was just beautiful. It’s close to a lot of places we wanted to visit and easy access to all sorts of transportation. Aside from not having a remote control for our television, it was enjoyable. Will be coming back again and highly suggest this location. A family of 4 fits comfortably.

Everything with the apartment was great! The location of the apartment is perfect to explore the city on foot. But very quiet. Also the hints that we recieved from the owner were very helpful. We really can recommend this apartment for a trip to beautiful edinburgh.
