The South Maybury Residence is a fresh, modern second-floor apartment within a residential area, sleeping 4 guests. Accessing the city centre couldn’t be easier with Edinburgh’s excellent bus and tram services taking just 20 minutes, while Edinburgh Airport is only 5-10 minutes from the property. This is an excellent base from which to explore the city and further afield with great transport links right on your doorstep.

This self-catering apartment is fully furnished and decorated to an excellent standard, with underfloor heating in the living room ensuring your stay in Edinburgh is as cosy as possible. The comfortable sofas and TV in the living room also make the perfect combination for a family film night!

Moving through to the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Integrated appliances include a hob, oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave & washing machine while cooking utensils are also provided.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a large mirrored wardrobe - perfect for putting the finishing touches to any outfit! The second is a twin bedroom with 2 comfortable single beds and a chest of drawers.

Please note we do not provide hypoallergenic bedding at our properties.

A bright, modern family bathroom with over-bath shower completes this delightful holiday home.

This apartment is well catered with a Morrison’s Supermarket and high street retail stores at The Gyle Shopping Centre, just a short 5-minute drive away (or 10-minute walk, depending on our energetic you’re feeling), and a petrol station is just across the road.

This property operates a self-check-in via keysafe from 4pm on the day of arrival.

The latest departure time is by 11am, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already.

Upon our arrival we found that we had been given the wrong code for lockbox. Nobody had arranged to meet us as advertised. The number I called first didnt answer but then text me back saying I don't have any signal and I had to call the office number instead to get the correct code.. Once entering the property we were greeted by a lingering stale curry smell which didnt go away during our stay. The whole apartment was filthy and dusty. There was stains on side tables, bedside tables, couch and bedroom carpets. The bathroom was full of grime and the fridge was vile. There was damp in some areas of the ceiling in a few of the rooms. The location of the property was ok but was disappointed that theres no mention of the property being on a busy main road so trying to get any sleep whilst listening to traffic all night might not be everyones cup of tea Wouldn't recommend Once

I was a bit nervous booking this accommodation because I've seen so many horror stories online but I'm so glad I did!! The host was lovely and could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was exactly as described and perfect for a family of four. The flat is close to the airport, literally down the road from a big shopping centre and tram station so everything is easily on hand and it was very easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and may well stay again if we go back to Edinburgh.

Flat met our party of three needs for a long weekend in Edinburgh, but second bedroom would have really been tight if we had a fourth person, as we originally planned. Flat was tidy, but living room rug was tired and walls in the entry hall needed a good scrubbing. Place smelled like someone else's curry dinner for the first two days - not good!

The property was out of the city but it was easy to find transportation into Edinburgh by bus, tram or train. As advertised, it just had the basics but that is all we needed for our stay.
