Just because you can sleep 14 doesn’t mean you should
I am writing this review with a lot of experience renting beach homes for our large family vacation and as the owner of a rental unit I take care of in Tennessee. The description of this house is very misleading. It is listed as 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. However, in reality it is a 3 bedroom with 1 bathroom, and then in a detached part of the property there is another “bedroom” with a split shower and toilet in other rooms. This may be OK for some people, but it made it problematic for us because we did not feel like we could just leave the younger kids in another part of the property. In addition to this the entire property is only 1300sqft. This is tiny and is not setup for large families. For example you can technically sleep 8 people in the bunk bedroom, but there is no place to put luggage, clothes, no hooks to hang bath towels, etc. In a nutshell the Location is FANTASTIC you are literally 50 steps from the beach, The Main house is nice, the Kitchen is very impressive and the beds are comfortable, It is a great beach house for 6-8 people max. The detached 1 bedroom- 1 bath (aka the dungeon) is terrible, the fridge smells like fish, when you step out of the shower, there is no shades on the two windows so anyone can easily peep on you. the window air unit is way underpowered, the pull out coach is supper uncomfortable. It would be the perfect place to sleep the help if we were in Downton Abby’s time. This unit is over priced for what you get.
