The Space
Moon Tide was designed by a local architect with both style and function in mind. Spacious common areas and private retreats make it easy for everyone to spread out or come together.
Bedrooms: 5 total (plus 3rd floor loft) with a variety of sleeping arrangements for up to 18 guests. Bed Arrangements - 3 Kings, 2 Twin Bunk Beds, 1 Queen over Queen Bunk Bed, 2 Queen Sleeper Sofas.
Living Areas: Open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space with ocean views.
Outdoor Living: Covered porch, rooftop deck, picnic table, and charcoal grill.
Entertainment: 8 Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, books, puzzles, board games, and more.

Really nice house. Well stocked kitchen. Decent small grocery store 1 block away. Decent restaurants close at hand. The surf got into the road in front of the house and there was often 4" of standing ocean water getting out of the driveway. Tip: get your groceries before getting on the island. Civilization is 30 minutes away. The property manager, Andrea, is golden -- very responsive. Had a problem with a vehicle. She helped me find a terrific mechanic in minutes.

We had a great time staying at Moon Tide. I am very impressed at the level of service the homeowner and property manager provide. We encountered one problem with the HVAC and the property manager Andrea responded right away with a few suggestions to get us through the night and had an HVAC Tec there first thing the next morning. Problem was resolved quickly and professionally. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a large well-maintained home with a great location. We will definitely come back. Thanks again for all your help and fast response. We had a great time

Pros: Fantastic area and people!! Beach not crowded and easy and close access to supplies. Fire department had a free rental beach wheelchair!!!!! The elevator was invaluable. The house was well stocked. It EASILY and VERY comfortably supported 13 people. We were right next to the state park with WONDERFUL biking trails. I have marked this house as an absolute FAVORITE. Cons: Matresses were extreemly hard and a bit uncomfortable. The washing machine did not work and the second floor toilet seat was broken.. however!! ...the maintenance crew called to fix came immediately and resolved the issues (except for the washing machine. It needed parts).. so.. kindof a "pro" and not a "con". Absolutely a wonderfully memorable week!

Beach Lovers Dream

Great home for beach lovers of all ages. We had a 4 month old and 82 year old. Elevator was great. We had 105 heat index and the location enabled us to easily go back and forth to the beach as it was right at your door. Mom and baby sat under the deck and were able to have the ocean breeze why staying out of the sun. Moontide is 5 stars!.

Four generations to the beach

This was a fantastic stay. We took my grandmother, mother, daughter and her friend. This property was perfect for grandmas and her mobility issues. The elevator was the main amenity that drew us to this property, but that was just the tip of the iceberg. The location right in the heart of Edisto was amazing and convenient. There was ample space and we really enjoyed the open concept of the main floor. The views were spectacular. The kitchen was well equipped, better than a lot of other places we've stayed. I can't really think of anything that could have been done better. This was definitely a trip to remember. Thank you.

Great family vacation

We had a wonderful 2 week vacation with family members from 3 to 91! Wonderful porch and deck to enjoy the views. Great kitchen, Great bedroom suites and bathrooms throughout to accommodate privacy. Kids bunk rooms are great! It was wonderful to be surrounded by the views and the sounds of the sea throughout the house. The elevator became a little difficult to operate, but was manageable. Manager was notified and planned for service. Great property!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! This was such a comfortable and well-appointed place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. It truly felt like everything we needed was right at our fingertips—no need to bring all the usual extras. The location is unbeatable: grocery stores and restaurants are just a short walk away, and the beach is literally right out the back door. The views are stunning at all times of day, in any weather. Thoughtful touches like linens, plenty of towels, basic condiments, and more really set this rental apart from others in the area. And yes—those cookies were a perfect welcome treat! Christmas getaway!

We traveled with family to Edisto for a Christmas getaway. The property is beautiful and just as described. It suited our group perfectly..an elevator for those that need it, pet friendly, and right on the beach! We hunted for shells each morning, watched dolphins from the house, and explored the area. Mini College Reunion

This was the perfect home and location for 15 74-yr. old women to gather for an extended weekend of catching up with each other's live and families. College friends for 56 years, this was the first time we were all under one roof together since we graduated. We hold reunions every 2-3 years, but typically we stay in hotels. It was GRAND to be able to take beach walks, move from porch to porch, and cook together in the very well equipped kitchen.

Amazing House!

Our only complaint about this vacation is that it wasn't long enough! The house is in an amazing location and was stocked more than any other vacation rental I've ever stayed in. They even had an automatic water bowl for our dog. If you're considering a stay on Edisto Beach, this is the house for you! We will be going back!

Awesome!

This house was so well equipped and the welcome was warm and personal! We had some questions and one problem-all were addressed immediately and with warmth. The views were fabulous, from the upper deck and the porch. It accommodated our family with an infant and an 87 year old! We definitely would recommend this house!
