“Good budget room for one night. We were in one of the 4 units at the very top of the hill. Think other units may have been redone but this one definitely has not been. It was dated however was clean. Biggest problem with this hotel is lack of eating options nearby. Fitzgerald restaurant is closed and the other café has very limited hours that they are open. If you want to eat take out it is 15 minutes away and a proper meal is about 30 minutes away. All in all it was okay but not a place we...

“The spacious accommodation included an air conditioner in the sitting room and fan in the bedroom. The bed was soft but cozy. The included breakfast was served with pride from Cheryl who is an excellent cook who truly cares about her guests. Fruit cup began the breakfast of pancakes, tasty individual egg casseroles, home spun honey, home made maple syrup, jam, and self served coffee. If staying in the area again Chamber would be our top choice.”

“We had a nice stay in one of the hotel rooms. Staff were very nice. We didn’t actually golf, we just wanted to stay outside Sydney on our trip. The room was clean, we had a little issue opening the room door but the staff helped us out. The bathroom door didn’t lock or latch properly but we were able to manage that.”

“The owner\hostess was rude and obsequious. She has a footwear issue…..and offered used slippers as an alternative. The physical plant was fine. This is not a hotel….it is her and her yapping dogs home. I don’t pay $300 for a lecture.”

“Paul was very welcoming and accommodating, made us sandwich plates since the restaurant was not technically open that day. They have pet friendly facilities which is great. The grounds and trails to the shore were fun as well. We had spent 2 days on the go and we were able to actually unwind. Our unit had no tv and we did not miss it at all. 9/10 would recommend!”

“First time stayed on first floor. Bugs in bathroom, no hair conditioner in bottle, carpet was dirty, only one chair and that was broken. The breakfast wasn’t that good. Hotel has gone downhill.”

“I feel that a 4pm check-in time is absolutely ridiculous. There are some guests that stay one night and are leaving on the 5am flight. With your check-in time those guests are not in your hotel for 12 hours and paying $300+ for the night. Beautiful hotel and view but 4pm is wrong. Hire some more cleaning staff again. Cutbacks are best in other sectors not cleaning staff.”
