“The check-in process was seamless and the host was communicative. The property has a lot of character and style, but it is in definite need of upgrades. There was peeling paint on the ceilings and walls and in the claw-foot tub. The toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall and not been repaired, etc. There was garbage just inside the front gate. And some basic amenities would have been welcome. There were no paper towels or napkins in the kitchen, and there was a keurig machine but no pods. ”

“At first glance, the hotel is modern and newer. Once I got to the room, I was not satisfied with the dirty surfaces. The kitchen sink had grime around the faucet and drain area. The bathroom door looked very dirty and did not get wiped. There was a smear of fresh looking makeup on there. The bathroom door and ceiling paint is peeling already. Poor obvious spackling on ceiling with paint not matching and sanding not done. The shower floor and shelves were dirty with black dirt and fuzz residue....
