Our stay started with us not getting the type of room we reserved and paid for. Your website and the Holiday Inn website showed a one-bedroom single floor room. We reserved that type of room as my wife recently had knee replacement surgery. The room we were provided was a 2-story loft type room with a spiral staircase. This obviously wasn't going to work but were told that's all that was available. We went to the front desk to complain and were told again there was no one bedroom rooms like we reserved available, and a refund wasn't available because we reserved through Expedia. They finally offered us a handicap room which we had no choice but to accept. Once in the room we discovered that there was no closet, no telephone, and the refrigerator didn't work. They did bring us a telephone, and repaired the refrigerator, but they had no portable closets, so they brought us a luggage cart which we had to walk around the 4 nights of our stay. We also prepaid for breakfast each morning. Our first morning we were greeted with a sign in the breakfast area apologizing for not being able to provide breakfast as there was a power outage. The first day our room was not serviced. The next morning, I asked the front desk how often rooms get serviced, she wasn't sure but said she would make sure it got serviced on that day. Well, our room only got service on our last day, and that is only due to constantly complaining! This was one of the worst hotel stays my wife and I have ever had!!
