Ambiente privato sul fiume Doe. Due camere da letto, due bagni. Rambler recentemente ristrutturato. Entro 25 minuti dalla Bristol Motor Speedway, Roan Mountain, Watauga Lake e il sentiero Tweetsie. Vicino a ETSU e Milligan College e in posizione centrale per la famosa "Dozzina del Sud" per gli appassionati di moto. Il centro di Elizabethton è vicino. Ambiente privato ma vicino ai negozi.
Il fiume Doe è noto per la grande pesca alla trota, soprattutto in autunno. Abbiamo 400 piedi di facciata del fiume per la pesca e / o kayak. La casa si trova a pochi minuti dal fiume South Holston e dallo svincolo dei fiumi Watauga e Doe, una delle migliori zone di trote dell'Ue orientale.
Sedersi sul grande ponte e semplicemente godersi la pace e la tranquillità. Ottimo posto per fuggire e rilassarsi. Cucina completa con tutto il necessario. Letto king size in master. Due gemelli XL nella camera degli ospiti. Griglia a gas per cucinare sul ponte così come comodi mobili sotto copertura e un tavolo da fuoco a propano per tenerti al caldo durante i mesi più freddi. Asciugamani e lenzuola, pentole padelle e piatti forniti. Abbiamo anche cavo e wifi per il vostro divertimento.

Journey's End is absolutely beautiful, the home, the property, the river. It is so peaceful. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, Journey's End has been our favorite. We never wanted to leave, and can't wait to stay again.

Absolutely perfect!

We have family in the area and wanted to stay closeby. This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at, even better than the pictures show! Our kids are obsessed with fishing and LOVED the decor and reading about the history. Books everywhere! Super clean, communication was A. We owned a rental home in the past and it didn't even come close to this. The owners provided treats for the kids. The beds are super comfy. The outside area is absolutely amazing, we enjoyed listening to the river and sitting outside at night. The washer and dryer was very helpful. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the fireplace as it was a short trip, but we just hope this wonderful home is available when we make the trip again!!!

Beautiful home and surroundings especially the deck overlooking the river. Carport was a plus. It kept us dry while packing up while it was raining. Everything we needed for preparing meals was available. The homeowner called to give my husband fishing location tips. We thought that wS above and beyond nice. We highly recommended this property

Always amazing!

This is my second stay at this property but won’t be my last! The host is so helpful and is very quick and responsive. The river on the property is so peaceful and the house is very well-kept! Already planning my next stay. Truly a hidden gem.

Fly fishing weekend

From the start, communication was top notch! The house was fantastic and exactly has advertised. Enjoyed fishing in the "back yard" on Friday, we had a blast catching Rainbows and Browns! Love the proximity to Elizabethton, which is where we met our fly fishing guide! Great day floating on the Watauga!!Will be back...thanks for a great weekend!!

Absolutely speechless

This is the first rental I have ever stayed in that is EXACTLY as advertised! The view was the winning feature for us. We were looking for a few days of rest and relaxation- and that's what we got! The beds were so comfy and every amenity was provided. The hosts went above and beyond in answering all of our questions. The house felt like home upon arrival. We weren’t too far from town but away from traffic! The sight and sound of the river running through the backyard was relaxing. Homeowner left detailed instructions and information. We will be renting again next time we are in the area.

We stayed here sonce our daughter is thinking about attending ETSU this fall. It is a relatively short drive to the campus. Everything was great! The river's sound was relaxing and contant. The host was very accommodating and friendly. We will visit again!

Cozy Hidden Gem

We are repeat offenders and plan on keeping that status. Never disappoints, in fact it just gets better with every visit. This sweet home sits right on the Doe River. Very convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but feels a world away. First steps in the door and you’ll feel you are right at home in this cozy, clean home. Well appointed kitchen. Clean bathrooms with lots of hot water and great water pressure. Super comfy beds and linens Wonderful cowboy grill right beside the waters edge. Very clean gas grill.Comfortable deck furniture overlooking the river. Richard and Diane are the best host. They go above and beyond to assure you have a wonderful visit. Needless to say, we highly recommend Journeys End!!

Right out of a dream

While working on a new TV show I needed a setting on the doe river. Figured I'd spend the night by myself since we had the house anyway. Missing Journeys End the Moment I Left

The owners put so much Love into making this vacation rental feel like Home Away from Home. The inside was as beautiful and Cozy as the outside! Stunning views of the Mountains and the sound of the River was so peaceful and relaxing. Fishing was fun and watching the Birds were an extra treat! Located near Great Restaurants and Shopping. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and stay warm during a weekend getaway with a beautiful Snow fall. Can’t wait to visit in the summer to do some tubing and kayaking right off the back porch!! Thanks so much!! The locals were as friendly as they come!!

I never slept so good

This place is magical and so so relaxing we never wanted to leave. Each night I was so relaxed listening to the river and hiking through the day that I slept a solid 9 hours each night. Something my mind and body desperately needed. The house is so clean and stocked with everything you need. The outside is everything here. A beautiful river overlooking a mountain. A fire pit and deck with covered awning to wake up and sip coffee. If you're looking for peace, tranquility and a place to gather your thoughts this is the place for you!

Beautiful place, super clean and well stocked

Amazing that this property was spared from the flooding from hurricane, house was perfect, very clean, very well stocked, owners very nice and informative when spoke to them.would definitely like to come back when the wet is a little nicer and do some fishing. Thank you to the Forsythes for a beautiful place to stay.

Relaxation at its finest!

A great place to return to after a busy day out. I was looking for a place to relax and this home was PERFECT! Listening to the water out the back was a wonderful addition to my morning coffee on the deck. Richard and Diane are wonderful hosts and were available my entire time for anything I needed and were more than helpful with my needs. A wonderful stay and highly recommend!
