“Great hotel, stayed there many times.”

“clean room and helpful staff some of the walls and stairs in the facility need to be cleaner but overall it was a good stay”

“This house had everything a large family could want. A secluded (but not isolated), beautiful large yard both front and back. A river, bamboo forest, old growth trees and large covered porch with ample seating and table. I wish we had longer to stay to enjoy a nice campfire in their rustic fire pit. It looks like a great fishing spot as well though I didn't have time to try. Shopping wasn't to far away so a plus there as well. The house itself was large had a nice sized kitchen, family room...

“I wasn’t aware that Motel 6 does not provide any toiletries other than a bar of soap, and that nothing at all is provided for breakfast. Other than that, it was a good place to stay in Bristol, Virginia, while traveling south.”

“*Not terrible, but not great* The front desk clerk was curt - borderline rude. The property is obviously an old hotel that was given a lipstick on a pig renovation. The finishes are nice enough, but the bathroom fixtures, etc. are old and paint spattered. The breakfast was on par with most American hotels - not very good. I pass through this area several times per year, but will try a different hotel next time.”

“Room was advertised as having a microwave, which we depend on when traveling. It did not. I would not have stayed here if I had known. Otherwise, everything else was good”

“The hotel itself was nice and was clean front staff was super friendly but the bed was probably the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!! To me this is the most important part of a hotel. I’m coming there to sleep not spend time hanging out in a room. The bed needs to be comfortable. Our bed was the absolute worst thing I’ve ever slept on. It was so bad I actually contemplated moving to the floor and sleeping on my yoga mat.”

“While the A/C was cool, the humidity was awful. The bed sheets felt damp and it wasn't pleasant. Also, there is no fan in the bathroom so taking a shower only added to the humidity. For these reasons I would pay up to avoid this problem. The place was clean, the staff courteous, and parking ample if you aren't pulling a trailer.”

“The property was very close to the creeper trail which was very convenient. The breakfast was excellent.”

“The staff were very attentive. I was celebrating my birthday while I was there. I ordered room service for breakfast and they even put a rose on my cart. Everyone at the Hard Rock Hotel was very enthusiastic about taking care of the guests.”
