Cottage a Elizabethtown

“Cozy and clean home that had all of the little things we needed! Easy access to all of the cool hiking spots in the area!”

“Cabin was exactly as described on the website. Great hiking less than 10mins away. An ideal location to say the least.”

“What beautiful little house. Excellent touches. House had everything we needed. Firewood for firepit was great!! The ladder to the loft is a little steep..BUT VERY Sturdy, with handles on each side. I would love to stay here again. Host was very responsive.”

“Good location, easy to book and find, host answers timely, clean, lots of windows, and has everything you need.”

“Very clean. Very relaxing. Enjoyed going to the garden of the gods trails and hiking. Host was very responsive and friendly. My pets had the best time and I think it’s so awesome that they allow them. Location is beautiful. Will definitely be back”

“Absolutely a slice of heaven! We'll be back!!”

“The Martin House was plenty big & was a historic home! The kitchen & baths had been completely renovated & were nice!! The queen bed upstairs is not a queen…must be a full as we have a queen at home & this was much smaller & too tight for 2 regular size adults! Both of the front bedrooms need a bedside table or nightstands to put night time necessities such as water, Kleenex, nighttime meds, etc. The upstairs shower needs a clean shower curtain & new, clean shower liner & brighter light bulbs...

“The property and house was beautiful. My boys loved fishing in the pond and we loved sitting by the fireplace and the pond. The sunsets there are fantastic. The house was nice and functioned well for our family of 6. It was clean and had all the things in the kitchen and the house that we needed while we stayed there. We would love to come back again.”

“This is an amazing property and unique experience. It is “off the grid” in a sense, but had everything we needed and was clean. Friendly staff and very cool antique decor. Definitely recommend!”

“Great location for exploring Shawnee National Forest! Property was clean and quiet. They are in the process of updating the rooms on the property.”

“It is a very peaceful environment. Walking the property offers opportunities for quiet reflection , as does simply sitting on the porch overlooking the river.”

“Everything was lovely”

“The unit was more than I expected. The cabin was furnished with comfortable seating indoors, a full kitchen, TV, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with a hot shower, and more. I will definitely be booking this place again for another getaway.”

“We decided to book this place because it was close to Garden of The Gods, and it was available at a great price. The view of the Ohio River was amazing. The host was friendly, and the room was clean. The only issue we had was the doorknob to the bathroom would stick, making it a little difficult to get out of the bathroom.”

“Pros: quiet little cabin, tucked just inside from a street. Clean & cozy. Cons 1. Mattress: It was too soft & saggy in the middle. Another reviewer mentioned this too. I wasn't able to get a restful night's sleep. Either my knees or neck would be sore in the mornings 2. Not enough brightness / lights: The interior feels dark - with an okay ceiling light, where 1-2 if the bulbs would slowly go dim as tine went on. Kitchen light was brigther.”

“Nice place ”

“Great property very roomy clean and accommodating”

“CUTE LITTLE TOWN”
