“The view from our room was spectacular. Being able to look out upon Whiteface Mountain and surrounding area from our room was absolutely worth it! The hotel is definately older and could use some modernization however, its cozy and located centrally to everything we wanted to do and see. The amenaties were adequate however the shower definately needed some help. The hot water needed to be turned on for 5-10 minutes before it would even start to get warm, so plan for that. “This stay was great! The beds were very comfortable, very clean and the hospitality was perfect. This hotel was very close to the Mt. Whiteface auto road and not that far from Lake Placid that was on our list of places to visit. I would recommend this to anyone and I would come back again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Brook Lodge! The location was beautiful and peaceful, and it was a great place for our family to relax after exploring the Lake Placid and Adirondack area.
The lodge was clean, comfortable. Being surrounded by nature made the stay even more special. Our family had a great time, and the kids especially enjoyed the bonfire.”

“The location was everything! A few minutes walk to Mirror Lake, shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream, and trails around the lake. Since parking costs a premium within Lake Placid, this was a major perk. Second, staff was a text away and showed up at our room to walk us to the newly relocated firepit with Adirondack chairs under the starry sky. Would 100% stay here again. Directly next door to Fratelli's pizza and what a great value compared to pricy spots in Lake Placid.”

“It has some sort of hostel feeling (common kitchen, pit fire area, barbecues, board games) with lovely private rooms. Bedding could be improved but we still would highly recommend it.”
