“Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. It is newly renovated. Everything is in perfect working order. Car can be parked in front of the house. Andreas, our landlord, is a super friendly and relaxed person and gave us both, helpful hints for visits in the area as well as e.g. a gas grill to prepare out freshly self-caught North Sea fish. “My daughter's cat enjoyed the stairs and the big window in the living room along with the big window at the top of the stairs. Definitely a pet friendly place. The host was prompt to reply when we texted with any questions. Plenty of space for 3 adults and a cat. Would stay again and would recommend this as place to stay with or without a pet.”

“Everything was great! Very cool property on the garden center grounds, super nice, friendly and helpful property manager. Very comfortable beds/living spaces was full kitchen and laundry appliances. The property was about 5 miles outside of town so not super walkable but an easy drive to the beach and town center. Would recommend for some peace and quiet! Would stay again no question. ”

“An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape. We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities. The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. ”
