“Clean, cozy and nicely appointed efficiency apartment in the heart of Hammondsport. It was nice to walk to the lake, eateries and shops. We had no trouble finding on street parking. Lots to do in the area, antiquing, wineries, breweries, good restaurants and ice cream. We recommend the Hideaway!”

“We thought the property was very clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, great location to Watkins Glen and plenty of wineries nearby. The firepit was a great plus with plenty of wood. Plenty of space to park and it was a great place to stay. We would definitely stay there again! Would suggest a few more washcloths and towels. ”

“My mom and I went to Candor to visit her hometown and childhood friends and we chose this location to stay in Spencer. It is within a beautifully and well kept historic property. While there are other units we had our own dedicated space and we wouldn’t have known anyone else was there. Conveniently located next to Nickals park and Lake which was beautiful and has a convenient little mile hiking trail around he water. The diner down the block and the pizzeria are delicious!
