⚠️ BEWARE OF THE POOL ⚠️
My family stayed here for 3 nights. While most of the staff were friendly, our experience with the pool was extremely concerning.
The pool reopened on 3/31 after being closed for maintenance. After just one hour in the water, my boyfriend’s eyes became very red and irritated. By the next morning, his condition worsened so badly that we had to go to the ER, where he was diagnosed with keratitis and prescribed medicated eye drops.
We informed the manager, Rose Hawley, simply so the pool could be checked and to prevent this from happening to others. We were not asking for compensation. Unfortunately, she was dismissive and unprofessional, insisting the pool could not be the cause, even suggesting he might be “allergic to chlorine”—despite us having no history of issues and a medical professional explaining otherwise.
Now, days later, his vision is still blurred and his eyes remain red, impacting his daily life and the attendance of his online classes.
Very disappointing response from management and a serious safety concern. Please use caution if you plan to use the pool.
