“Staff were great. Breakfast supervisor was awesome but under appreciated by most of the other patrons. Remember to tip her if you go! Room was clean but the shower did need some tlc. Overall we would go back!”

“Upon arriving, there was a 10 minute wait as no one was at the front desk and there was a line up for check in. Room was okay with comfortable beds. Hot water took a mininum of 5 minutes to reach a tolerable temperature and for 2 days it never got hot at all. The place looks abandonded as there is no staff anywhere. There was only 1 staff member at the front desk and that's all we saw. We stayed for 3 nights, and no one came to clean our room. We ran out of towels and I had to ask the front desk...

“We stayed at the fairmont hotel Macdonald twice now and absolutely love it!! The staff are so friendly and helpful! Shoutout to Paul would went above and beyond to make our anniversary stay special including a personalized card, flowers and cake! The property is beautiful and although they are doing quite a few renovations and the one restaurant is closed, you would hardly know. One downside is the pool and hot tub close very early on Sunday nights (8pm). Would be nice if it was open later for...

“The window leaked when it was storming. And beside the bed there was a leak from the bathroom. But the staff was amazing n really helpful with everything. The building itself just needs a little bit of TLC. Enjoyed the stay”

“Loved the two bedrooms , clean rooms hallways entryway, came in earlier than the sign in time, we were given our room as we needed a room to change clothes for a wedding. All in all I would stay here again. Marianne C”
