“Clean room, they reserved our parking so event goers wouldnt steal them thankfully. The bed was sturdy and clean, multiple layers to bedding and a heater we didnt use because the bedding was enough, bathroom had nice hot water! Literally on the beach and a wooden patio option!”

“My husband uses a walker so I asked for a handicap room. The room they gave us was nowhere near handicap. No handrails in the bathroom and none in the shower. He had to use the doorknob to help himself off of the low toilet. He couldn't take a shower because of no handrails and he couldn't step over the side of the tub. Also I had to change our keys 6 times because they wouldn't work. There was only one chair in the room to sit on and it was a rolling office chair (not very safe for a handicap...

“The motel was clean, it was nice parking right in front of the room. It was spacious, although the shower was a little tight. The towels were very thin. The check in was smooth, but if you needed something it was harder to find someone to help you. It was a cute, retro motel, and the history of it was fun, especially since we were there to visit the redwoods. I gave it 4 stars because the beds weren't very comfortable. Other than that, it's great for a one night stay”

“A great option for convenience and ocean activities. I loved seeing the coastal swallows nesting under the hotel eaves and hearing the ocean waves at night. Within walking distance of many tide pools, Battery Point Lighthouse, Beachfront Park, and SeaQuake Brewery. Was worth it for the 4th of July to be able to watch fireworks without leaving hotel grounds. However, the hotel room was dirty: sand and dirt in the drawers, dust bunnies under the beds, someone else’s sock and wrappers in the couch....

“this place is not a typical stay. its a room in a house where the owners live. the room is huge and rustic. it does have a musty odor but that could be from being close to the coast. no tv but for us thats ok. shoud be listed as an airbnb. good value for the price. off the beaten path definitly not for the non adventerous. host very accomidating. i would stay again because the price was right. romantic charm. give it a try!”

“It was a good stay overall. As a solo traveler the area felt a little sketchy and I didn’t love the open breezeways. Bed was super comfortable and room was clean. Staff was really nice checking in”

“Tiny room and dirty floors. Mold in the bathroom. Very expensive due to it being the 4th but was not satisfied”

“The drain pipe for shower was blocked and the bath tub is too dirty, and the floor is sticky.”

“We had the Diamond tent. The bedding was so comfortable, which made our stay nice…even during the chilly night. The view was absolutely amazing. We sat on our front porch and listened to the birds sing. Solar lights lit our way both inside and out. There were 4 bathrooms close to the tent. 2 of the 4 were out of order, but this did not affect us in the least. They were also Lit by solar power and had running water and a flushing toilet. I would stay again. Nice and peaceful.”
