“The Florance was a great place to stay from every perspective. Room was excellent well fitted out and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great over the road from the Botanical Gardens and on the edge of the city. If you are an AFL fan down for the footy (as I was) the location is only a 10-15 minute stroll to the ground. Pub over the road was good for a meal. Will definitely return.”

“I had a wonderful stay, the building is very charming and clean, as was my room. the Bed was comfortable. I appreciated how easy check in and out was. There were a couple of small maintenance issues with my room (a wall lamp that did not work and the sliding bathroom door was off its hinges) but I mentioned them to somebody at breakfast the next day and she said she would be happy to pass the message along. “l'albergo è ben tenuto, le stanze sono pulite, il personale gentile e disponibile per ogni informazione. L'unica pecca è quella di essere un po' lontano dal centro. Sono preferibili le stanze con vista fiume, le altre danno su un'area commerciale/industriale. Comunque da raccomandare”

Due to being located on a major thoroughfare, the road noise was terrible. There was no fan or aircon in the room to circulate any air, and the only way to allow air circulation was to prop the window open a bit. “The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. But the unit itself needed a bit of work. The shower had a leak in the bottom and wasn't sealed properly, and there was a family of possums or rats living in the roof that were quite loud. Everything else was in good working condition, but overall could use with a good deep clean.”
