  • From this lake front home you can swim, fish and dock your boat on this property's private dock. The house has a bedroom on the main floor with a queen bed and beautiful lake views. Additionally, there are 2 twin beds in the loft and a queen sofabed in the livingroom. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The large deck on the lakeside of the house has patio furniture and a grill for you to relax and enjoy the views. In the winter you can snowmobile from the property to all the main trails and you can ice fish on the lake from the property as well.

What a wonderful place! We, 2 adults and 4 kids (7-10) absolutely loved our time here and ended up extending our stay an extra day. The home is so clean and cozy and it is very obvious the hosts put a lot of thought and care into every detail. They care very much about their guests experience and we needed nothing while there. They were very quick to respond to my request/questions and were some of the nicest people I've encountered in a while. We would love to stay again!

Everything as promised. Great trip to to fish and explore the area with my son. Highly recommend. Everything clean and orderly, communication with the host was flawless. A perfect 10 in our book. We extended an extra day.

The property is situated on a water front lot facing a beautiful lake , Akers pond , with a mountain backdrop. The interior was bright and sunlit , with a large sliding glass door , opening onto the attached deck facing the lake. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable , with a large kitchen sharing the main space . Clean, comfortable , and located in a very quiet area accessed by a private road. Large main bathroom , with soap , shampoo , and other items thoughtfully provided by the Hosts. Excellent all around property , centrally located to all the wonderful outdoor opportunities in the north country of New Hampshire and nearby Maine.

Amazing place

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and very well-equipped. We did some hiking and kayaking (saw a moose in the nearby wildlife refuge when we kayaked at sunset) and lots of relaxing. Definitely hope to be back

Peaceful getaway

My wife and I had been looking to get away for the first time in a couple of years, due to medical issues. This house was perfect. From the cleanliness, to the amenities, to the location (right on the lake, with a private dock)....it was everything we could have hoped for and more. We look forward to staying there again.

Just awesome! Those were the feelings by everyone in the family this week. The view is amazing, the house is set up for pure relaxation, and the host is great with communication. Can’t say enough great things!

It was a very nice house in a fantastic location! The ability to use the kayaks on the property was an absolute bonus. We loved a sunset row on the pond! The house was very clean, had great amenities, and was an overall wonderful place to relax for a couple of nights in North Country. Loved it!

Quiet retreat in the Spring

Lovely accommodation on a pond setting. Saw loons and an eagle! Wanted to explore the area further, but the weather was not kind on this trip. Would return.

Great house!

We loved it! Nice little house that is right on Ackers Pond! We loved the deck overlooking the lake. Perfect for coffee in the morning and a drink in the evening. The house had everything we needed. It was very clean and also had a huge kitchen. We will be going back! Communication with the host was easy.

Errol

We stayed a couple nights while we checked out the gorgeous state. This cabin was simply amazing. Such a gorgeous back porch. The view was amazing. I could just live here! So quiet and at night you could see stars forever. Loved all the sounds of nature in the early morning. The hosts are amazing. They go above and beyond with so many little extras if you forgot to pack something....and you always do.

We were delighted with the very comfortable, well-equipped and clean house with a lovely deck right on Aker’s Pond. The view of the mountains is beautiful and the water inviting. There were 2 kayaks and a pedal boat that we enjoyed. The WiFi was strong and the AC appreciated during the heatwave. Short drives in every direction led to notches, waterfalls, Maine and Quebec. We enjoyed Errol’s restaurants and the Colebrook Moose Festival.We came to see moose and a tour in Lincoln and one in Gotham helped us see them.I recommend staying at this property!!

Ice fishing Trip

Great location on Akers pond with snowmobile access footsteps from the door onto the lake accompanied by great views from the home. We caught a handful of rainbows as well as other fish and when you wanted to change it up, you had direct access to the main trails for a good ride on the sleds. Tom was great and very quick to answer any questions that I had. His place was very comfortable and was supplied with everything one needs to really relax and enjoy the property to the fullest.

Overall it was great. Kitchen was stock wide variety of items to use. Kayaks came in handy because 1 of ours had a crack that leaked. Kids loved the paddle boat. Plenty firewood for s’ mores. Ponds water super clear. Washer, dryer and dishwasher. Basically you able to pack less and enjoy your stay more. Clear view to watch meteor shower. I can go on and on.

Friday night, rugs on deck blowing off covering the deck that should’ve been painted years ago, also found furniture small I’m only 6 feet tall but kitchen table, seats, recliners, could’ve all been better. Overall, we believe it was overpriced, but not frowning upon the visit. Young family 670 overpriced.
